The leafy branch is from her PTI set Stylized Autumn. and the flowers are from PTI's Bitty Bouquet in CP's inks.  The background is PTI's Crackled in Soft Stone & sentiment in Smokey Shadow.

I love the soft background and then the bouquet of flowers.

Make It Monday #282 with Betsy Stenciled Watercolored Backgrounds

 

My card for this week's MIM was a bit of a challenge for me.  I was trying to use the Butterfly cover plate, making my own stencil and that just didn't work too well. Her's is much softer.  I usually like things bold but I felt this was too bold.  So softened a bit with a MFT Stitched Square vellum

Used Vintage Lines in CP inks.

I started out making a card for my son, Brad and his Fiance, Ramie who will be getting married June 17th.  I am so happy for them, both getting a second chance for love.

I decided that I could enter this in Altenew's April Challenge 

Using Altenew's blue colors and some mint as my inspiration with Beautiful Day stamp set

Ramie's colors are different shades of blue.

Sentiment is PTI's Graceful Greetings II embossed with Liquid Platinum

CAS Watercolour April Challenge - Pink & Green & Work It Wednesday April SSS

I have been practicing with the PTI Peonies on Parade Watercolor Sheets and my flowers would always turn out one color.  Still need more practice but this is the best of them.  I like how the background turned out.  Used Distress Inks in pinks & green.  That is Twisted Citron not yellow.

Kathy always seems to stump me with her challenges and she didn't disappoint again this week.  She asked us to make a Christmas scene and you think that would be easy, but wow I worked on this for 3 or 4 hours before I came up with this.  It went in so many directions before I actually got something I liked.  Great challenge Kathy.

Darnell's NBUS #11 Challenge

 

Sorry the picture isn't very good.

Saw this pretty Darice EF and while trying to work on another challenge that didn't work decided I could enter this into Darnell's  NBUS Challenge

The EF is a NBUS and the flowers are sort of a NBUS.  I may have used once or twice.  Anyway, very CAS and easy.
