Seize the Birthday #304 Shirley Stenciling

The second challenge in April for STB is hosted by Shirley and she would like us to use stenciling on our cards.  I love stenciling as it makes such pretty cards without having to color.  Come join the team and build up your Birthday Stash.  

I used Gina K's, Dazzling Dahlia stencil and her inks.  The frame is ML #14, the postage layout.

Seize the Birthday #303 - Nancy - Layer It

Today's STB challenge is hosted by our fantastic leader, Nancy and she would like us to make a card with layers on it.

  This was definitely a challenge for me, as I usually create clean and simple cards.  After I get all the pattern paper on it, I struggle what to put on it, so it isn't too busy.  I looked through all my stash of flowers and butterflies and came up with nothing, so I needed to stencil some more butterflies in colors that I felt would match the paper. 

 

I used Gina K's inks on PF's Small Butterflies, stencil, stamps, and dies.  The paper is from Gina also, Watercolor Floral
