Meeting those precious babies for the first time!!!

Connor

Anna
Justin

Avery, Dad, Maddy & Kailey meet the babies.

Justin is being admired by the whole family

Couldn't resist this sweet picture of Anna with her eyes open.

So excited yesterday as we got to meet our sweet bundles of joy.
The girls were so excited that once we got to the hospital they literally ran down the halls to get to the elevator.  They actually got to spend about an hour with them as they were being changed.
Then Rhonda and I got to go in.  Shawn & Kieu and the Kelly.
Rami was actually discharged yesterday too.  Bittersweet for her and so great for Brad.
But they dropped the girls off at their mom's and then headed back up to the hospital for more bonding time.

Merry Monday #288 with Deanne - Do not use Stamps

I always feel like I'm cheating when there isn't any stamping on a card.  Lol
My son and his family gave me a subscription to Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine and this is the gift from the first issue.  So I thought this would be perfect for this challenge.  Love this vintage type pictures.
Come join us at Merry Monday to get a jump start on your Christmas cards.

Three little Miracles April 26th - Born 2:37, 2:37 & 2:38

 Presenting
the Mighty Multiples
That is what they are know as on Instagram

Connor Craig 3 lbs. 8 oz

Justin Alexander 3 lbs. 3 oz

Anna Winifred 3 lbs. 7 oz.
Mom gets to hold Justin for the first time.

Dad & mom's hands compared to Justin.

The wait is finally over Brad and Ramie welcomed in the 3 little miracles above on April 26th. These babies were very high risk triplets. So the boys are identical MoMo twins and a girl.   Their chance of conceiving these type of twins was 1 in 200,000.  And they did not use fertility drugs and my son had a reverse vasectomy a year ago, so I'm sure the odds are even greater.  You remember that he just remarried last June, this is the second marriage for both of them and he has 3 girls ages, 12, 15 & 17.  Ramie did not have any children.
These pictures were sent to us about 3:10 so they aren't even an hour old.  We are so beyond excited to have these bundles of joy arrive and that they are all doing fantastic.  It's funny that Justin, the smallest of the three has been breathing on his own.  They take the breathing masks off every now and then to see how Connor and Anna are doing.  They are doing a little better after some medication.
I wish I had better pictures of Connor and Anna.  Justin seems to be the photogenic one in the group.  Lol....
There are more pictures posted on Facebook.  There is the sweetest video of Justin on there that shows dad helping him with his pacifier.  He is even getting the hang of sucking....It just melts my heart.
We are so beyond excited that God blessed us with the 3 little miracles.  The doctors and nurses are all so amazed at how well the pregnancy has gone and how well the babies are doing.  Praise God.....

Make It Monday #320 with Betsy Spot Color Word Diecuts / & Update on the Triplets

A card for this week's MIM
I usually try to do something different but could not think of any stamps but this one that you could color.  It's not the same stamp that Betsy used but similar.

This Thursday at 2:30 pm, Ramie will have a C-Section delivering the high risk triplets.  They have had a model pregnancy and now it is time for those sweet little ones to come into this world.  Please say some extra prayers that the last leg of this pregnancy goes well and the babies will be strong and healthy.  They will be spending 1-2 months in the NICU.  The twin boys are 2lb. 12 oz,  2-15 and the little girl is 3-6.  So all great as far as weight.  Can hardly wait to share pictures.  Stay tuned for the birth update.  And thanks for all of your prayers....

Merry Monday #287 with Colleen

Another card I struggled with.  This week, Colleen has a photo inspiration for us.  I am more of a CAS person and don't use a lot of pattern paper, but this photo reminded me of the Christmas paper I had.

Come join us at Merry Monday and get going on your cards.  Come November, you will be glad you did.

Merry Monday #286 with Susan

Wow, I really struggled with this card.  I had all these neat sentiments that I could use but I just couldn't put it all together.  Finally, I came up with this.  Funny thing the card did not evolve into something completely different.  It was what was happening in my head but not on paper.  LOL....
Susan wants us to use your favorite Christmas verse.

Twofer Challenge #4 with Darnell

Somehow I missed last month's Twofer which was flowers and more in my comfort zone.
So this month Darnell, wants us to make two cards with Pets.  My critters stamps are very sparse so had to go to digi stamps and found this cute little puppy from
Sliekje's Digi Stamps.
These two little colored puppies sat on my desk for 4 or 5 days trying to figure out what to do with them.  I knew I wanted to do one birthday card and still had trouble putting it together, but had trouble figuring out what to do for the other one and then it came to me.  Your always see the puppies looking out the window when you leave.

I made a birthday card with PTI's Birthday Balloons, and the Miss You card uses MFT Brick Wall Stencil and Cloud Stencils
Colored the little puppy with my Copics.

Muse #261 with Tracey & Inspired by All the Little Things #83

One card for two challenges:

Tracey's pretty card

&

Avery Elle Floral Bouquet with Zigs.  I was inspired by the pretty flowers.
I was hoping for a more yellow flower with the purples but it came out more orangish.  Oh well.

CAS Watercolour April 2018 & Seize the Birthday Bird

When I saw that this month's challenge was using a bird, I went oh no.  I don't do birds that well and only had some very small birds, but then I remembered this stamp set from Stamps of Life, Flamingo 2 Stamp and thought I would try and it took a few tries.
I used my Ziggies to watercolor the Flamingo and Distress Inks for the palms.
Then I saw that Seized the Birthday was the same theme so actually am able to enter into both challenges.
