Boy & Girl Invitation Sets

Here are two sets of Invitations that I made that Col will take to the Shop where she is selling some of her cards.  This is a new venture for her and she is also including me to help her make up different sets to sell.  Very cool to be able to sell your projects instead of just hoarding them.  Not a business where you have to keep it stocked up, but when you have an excess of cards from joining all the challenges and a way to earn a little extra money to put back into our card making obsession.

Stamp-a-faire Tie-Dye Techniques -2

Rainbow-Badge  Here is the 2nd card I made from the tie dye challenge.  Did not get this done in time to post before the end of SAF.  Funny thing happened when we were doing the tie dye technique.  You use shaving cream in a cookie sheet and then you use drops of the re-inkers for your color and then swirl the colors around.  I was trading cookie sheets with Colleen and went to put it on the counter and it fell on the floor upside down.  We both looked at each other and imagined what a big mess we would have on the floor.  But lo and behold, the shaving cream except for one little splotch stayed in the sheet.  Thank goodness cause that would have been a big mess to clean up....Needless to say we were in stitches over this.

Stamp-a-faire Tie-Dye Techniques & Embellishments

DIY-BadgeRainbow-BadgeHere is one card for two challenges, the tie dye and embellishments.  What fun the tie dye was.  So amazing how it works.  I really liked how this turned out.  We are in the craft studio and it is 12:15 AM PST.  Need to get these in before the deadline and if we wait until tomorrow, we have to have them in by 9:00 our time.  Too early for being up this late.

This is my second set of cards from Jessica's technique.  Love this technique also.  How do they come up with these wonderful ideas.  I guess that is why they are on the DT team.   Six cards with various color combinations.

Light-out
Here we are taking a picture for the closing ceremony.  Ok, so one of my pictures, the cake one previewed by Erin is upside down and we didn't notices until Colleen's DH had left.  Sorry Erin.  What a great day this was even though we are not finished viewing the videos and completing the projects.  So, we will turn this into a two day event......

Make It Monday #74: Stamping on Texture

I was really at a loss for this challenge and wasn't even going to do a card this week.  I embossed the quatrefoil die and used a brayer with Winter Wisteria.  I just received Turning a New Leaf today and decided to use it stamping with Simply Chartreuse.  The rose is from Rosie Posie.  Thanks for stopping by.  I enjoy all comments.

Make It Monday #73: Stamping on Patterned Paper - 3

For my third card, I used Heart 2 Heart 4 & 5 which I also had not stamped with before.  I love these Heart to Heart stamps.  So cute.  The cardstock is Spring Rain and Hibiscus Burst.  Inks are Hibiscus Burst and Hawaiian Shores, and the yellow and orange are Memento inks.  I really like stamping on pattern paper.  Really is a fun challenge.  And the pattern paper is just some miscellaneous paper from Scrapbook Nook a fun store here in Seattle.

Make It Monday #73: Stamping on Patterned Paper -2

One card very soft and the next one very colorful.  This is the first time I inked up the Lovely layers.  The patterned paper almost gets lost in my own patterned paper.  The double ended banner is also on the patterned paper.  Cardstock is Rasberry Fizz and the ink is Memento's Lilac Posies and Tangelo.  The green is PTI's Simply Chartreuse.

Make It Monday #73: Stamping on Patterned Paper

It feels so good to be back in my craft room.  I was not able to play last weekend and this is the first time since last week.
CAS card using Lace Bouquet on a miscellaneous piece of pattern paper.  The cardstock is Smokey Shadow, the sentiment is from Willow and the ink is Momento's London Fog.
