CAS Christmas August 2019

I was able to get another card done for CAS Christmas
Loll would like us to use glitter on our cards this month.  It is amazing that we have passed the half way mark until Christmas.  If you haven't started yet join us at CAS Christmas.

Still in the process of getting ready to move.  We have an offer pending and have been back and forth to Portland looking for homes.  The appraisal is being done tomorrow and the closing date if all goes well is August 28th.  So much is still up in the air and it is very stressful.
So I am sorry that I have not been able to make comments.  Will let everyone know when I am back to creating and commenting.  Soon I hope.....

Seize the Birthday #171 Flowers

I was able to make another card today.  I noticed I was getting low on my birthday cards so made this for STB

Our "Topping" option this time is...
Memory Box Watching Bloom colored with Copics & PTI's Birthday Balloons
Nuvo drops & Sparkle on the flowers where a blob came out.  Ugh....
I always feel I get carried away with the Nuvo drops

CAS Watercolour July 2019 Bouquet of Flowers Special Event

Happy Birthday to one of the most beloved ladies in blogland.
We each were supplied a portion of blueberry cardstock (see story below) to create a birthday card for Darnell.

Happy, Happy Birthday, my friend.

Special Event
Please join us in celebrating Darnell's Birthday!!
One more part to this special event.
The team has made special cards for Darnell's birthday,
along with our Guest Designer Leslie,
and several Featured Designers (friends from the retreat).

During our retreat, Darnell (Dolly to us) was up early one morning
and decided she wanted some frozen blueberries.
Some how she spilled almost the whole, Costco-sized bag of
blueberries all over the floor.

Bonnie snapped these pictures.
See the swipe of blueberries on the right photo??  Dolly couldn't find a broom so she grabbed
a large piece of card stock to pick up the berries.  As they thawed, the blueberry juice
"smooshed" on the cardstock in a lovely design that looked perfect for card making.

Well, without Dolly knowing, we kept that piece of blueberry smoosh and cut it up.
Each Designer has used one piece in making Dolly's birthday cards. :)

Seize the Birthday - Cover the Card

This is my last card as the Surprise Party Guest for the last two months.  Thank you so much Nancy for the honor.  It was so much fun.
I'm sorry I wasn't able to get around to commenting as I have had a houseful with the triplets and mom and dad as they are waiting for their house to close in Portland and their house here already closed.  In addition to that, I am in the process of putting my house on the market.  So my house is a disaster.  Lol...We are going to move down to Portland too as I don't want to miss one minute of the babies growing up, plus you all know my Bff, Colleen is down there too.  So it is a win, win for me.

The topping is to cover the card.

I used Altenew's Whimsical Flowers & Totally Tropical in CP inks.
The banner and sentiment are PTI's

Seize the Birthday - No Topping

So excited to be your STB Party Surprise Guest again for the month of June

So I do not remember or couldn't find the stamp set that I used to make this card.
But I embossed in clear over Versafine Black Ink and watercolored with Distress Inks.
This is a card I made at our recent retreat using the Cut Up technique that Nancy presented at the retreat.  It was from a video that Jennifer McGuire made.

Please join us to build up your birthday cards and come look at all of the lovely creations made by the team.

Eat Sleep Craft Repeat 2019

Had the most amazing weekend crafting with all of these ladies.
Front Row:  Christine Alexander, Susan Bridgman, Colleen Foelker, Bonnie Klass, and me
Back Row:  Trina Pham, Darnell Knauss, Loll Thompson & Nancy Littrell
We all gathered in Surrey, Canada, near Crescent Beach in a home that Loll rented for us.  Colleen and I were only able to stay for 4 days, but the others were there a week.
It was such an honor to be included in with these talented ladies.
Loll is a fantastic organizer and planner along with Christine and Susan's help it was an awesome weekend.
We all presented a technique to share with one another and made some fabulous cards.
My technique was one I saw on Kristina Werner's Blog using DOX inks to blend and then emboss in white.  I really loved this technique.  On her blog she shows different colors to blend together to get some amazing backgrounds.

Some of the cards I made during out retreat

Sponging with DOX inks and white embossing

Each of us is previewing a different technique so please come take a look at how much fun we had.

The Triplets Turn ONE

We are so blessed to have these beautiful babies in our lives
They are so much fun and it melts my heart when we walk in and they all have big smiles for us and crawl to us immediately.
They are all crawling and pulling themselves up, walking along furniture and getting into everything.
Last week, Mom and Anna went to Florida for a visit and the boys, Avery and dad stayed with us for 6 days because they were having an open house that weekend. (which btw, they sold their house.)
Anyway, we are pooped trying to keep up after those two busy boys.  That is why you have kids when you are young. Lol   Really miss those little guys but needed the rest.  They left here Sunday to pick up mom and Anna then headed down to Portland that afternoon as Avery had tryouts for Premier Soccer.  She made the A team. Yahoo for her.
These babies are such troupers, but mom is the biggest trouper of all.  She doesn't let the fact that she has triplets stop her from doing anything.
They come home today and we will be going to watch them tomorrow.  Miss those little babies.  It's been over a week since we have seen Anna and 4 days since seeing the boys.
Also, my Bff is coming in tomorrow and we are headed up to Canada for a Craft Retreat with Loll, Bonnie, Darnell, Trina, Susan, Christine & Nancy.  So excited to meet those lovely ladies. More on that later....
I guess that is about it for now.  Lots of pictures below.  ENJOY.

From a very risky pregnancy to happy, healthy ONE year olds.
Connor 3lbs. 8 oz. to 22lbs.
Anna 3lbs. 7 oz to 18 lbs.

Justin3lbs 3oz. to 18 lbs.

Birthday photo session
Connor, Anna & Justin

The birthday theme was Llama Farm

I've had enough of this.
Not sure which one this was.

Connor, Justin & Anna
Ok, mom are you done yet?

The boys did not enjoy their birthday cake, as they were woken up and so many people were around, so Rami did a re-do.  She got them each a cupcake and let them have at it.

Justin was into it this time.

Anna really loves her food.

Connor not as much, he really likes his fruit and veggies.

Seize the Birthday - Balloons - Surprise Party Guest

This month I am honored to be the Seize the Birthday's Surprise Party Guest.  Come join us to fill your stash of birthday cards.  The team has some awesome cards as inspiration.

First card, I sponged Distress Ink Oxides on the cardstock and then die cut this PTI Paper Clippings Birthday.
I used Nuvo Glitter Drops on the balloons.

This is a second one that I sponged a Chevron stencil on cardstock and then cut out the die cut.
You can see it better in real life than in the picture. Used Glossy Accents for the balloons.
