Freshly Made Sketches #12

Calendars made on Thanksgiving Weekend

What a fun project this was.  These calendars were fashioned after a Calendar that Lisa Johnson showcased on the Papertrey News.  They were very easy to make and I just love them.  I am going to give them to my Sorority Sisters and the ladies at work for Christmas.  And maybe even make them for my cousins on our all day Christmas get together if I get time to make them...

Make It Monday #42: Layered Background with Sentiment Stamps

I used the Big & Bold Holiday Wishes for the background sentiments and the holly is from Tiny Treats - Christmas.  The Santa is from a miscellaneous Christmas stamp set that I have.

My background did not show up as much as Gina's, but if you look closely you can see snowflakes in the background.  Cute card, but wish the snowflakes would have shown up a little better.

I used Masculine Mofiffs and Background Basics for this simple card in black and white.

Here is my card for Freshly Made Sketches #11.  This is All About You Additions from PTI.  See below to go to their blog.

Make It Monday #41 Participants -2

This MIM is from Tiny Treats- Christmas.  The glitter is not wanting to stick.  I had to re-do the sentiments in black ink because you could not read them.

Make It Monday #41 Participants

I used Butterfly Dreams for this MIM card.  I versamarked the background and then used the glitter on the butterflies on the white.  The sentiment is from Sending You.

Freshly Made Sketches #10

Not sure if I have the concept down right, but here is my first card for Freshly Made Sketches.

Make It Monday #40: Reverse Applique Participants - #3

For my last card, I used Butterfly Dreams for the background and Signature Series Flower for the reverse applique using faux stitching.

Make It Monday #40: Reverse Applique Participants - #2

This card was made from Signature Series Butterfly and Butterfly Dreams die cuts using again faux stitching.

Make It Monday #40: Reverse Applique Participants

This was a little more difficult for me since I am not a sewer, but I used the faux stitching technique with the clouds from Up Up and Away and the sentiment from Butterfly Dreams.  The hot air balloon is an Itty Bitty stamp.

Make It Monday #39: Multi-stamp Background Building Participants - 6

Ok, so I had one more idea.  This is from the It's a Jungle Out There stamp set.   Also used Limitless Circles die cut.

Make It Monday #39: Multi-stamp Background Building Participants - #5

I used Botanical Silhouettes, Life and the Sending You stamp sets.  I just loved the black and red combination that Nicole used on one of her cards and wanted to do something in that color scheme.  I am happy with how it turned out.  I love this technique, making your own background paper.  Fun, fun, fun....

Make It Monday #39: Multi-stamp Background Building Participants -#4

This card was made with Tiny Treats-Christmas stamp sets.  I think I pictured it cuter than it turned out.  Oh well.

Make It Monday #39: Multi-stamp Background Building Participants #3

This was actually the second card I made, using again the Text Box stamp set.  Have I told you how much I love this set.  Hee Hee.

Make It Monday #39: Multi-stamp Background Building Participants #2

This is another MIM card using the new Text Box stamp that I just got.  I really love this stamp set.  The leaf is from Botanical Silhouettes.

Make It Monday #39: Multi-stamp Background Building Participants

Today I received my order from PTI with my new Text Boxed stamp set which I used for the background on this card.  However, the larger leaves are from Masculine Motiff and the rest from Text Boxed.  This is an old set that Nicole showcased a couple months ago and I really like it.  Thanks for stopping by....

My Grandaughter's Birthay Card

Here is what I came up with for my grandaughter, Avery who will be turning 6 on  Thursday, November 3.  It is one of my ok cards and that is all I was able to accomplish this past weekend as far as making a card.  I did play with my cricut to cut some tags so I can make Christmas tags out of them and finished my box that I store my cut outs from dies that I have.  So, not a totally lost weekend.  I wasn't able to participate in last week's MIM and really missed that.  Looking forward to making a card or two for this week's.
