A second card for CAS Mix Up 

& a card for Fusion

 

I used both the sketch and the pastels colors.

This card was made with the alcohol inks using the ombre method and they turned out a little more muted.

Used PTI's Stylized Autumn for the leaves and some velum and Keep It Simply, Sympathy.

Oh my gosh it is so hot for us Washingtonians.  In the 90's for the next week or so.  Ugh.  So I am holed up in my air conditioned craft room and doing some crafting.  Yeah!!!!

A card for Muse by one of my favorite designers, Kay Miller

The leafy branch is from her PTI set Stylized Autumn. and the flowers are from PTI's Bitty Bouquet in CP's inks.  The background is PTI's Crackled in Soft Stone & sentiment in Smokey Shadow.

I love the soft background and then the bouquet of flowers.

CAS Mix Up - January -4

Another card.  I was trying to use this piece for my first card and just couldn't come up with a design.  So I am Skyping with my friend and she gave me the idea of using a silhouette and we actually liked the white better.  That's what blogging friends are for to help when you are stumped....

This is the piece that I also used on the butterfly.

There is still another method I want to try and that is putting drops of inks in water and then dipping your paper in and it comes ups with some really pretty backgrouds.
