AAA Cards #68 Tags

 

I found this pretty tag in my stash and thought it would be perfect for this week's AAA Cards 

I made the background with a technique that I watched on Jennifer McGuire's Blog

 Using Hero Arts Pale Tomato Shadow Ink then stamping with Versamark and also H/A Unicorn white pigment ink and adding some Perfect Pearls. The Perfect Pearls almost makes it appear to be gold. I really love how the background turned out even with a couple spots that I messed up.

The Paper Players #294 Color Challenge by Jaydee

 

My card for The Paper Players 

 

 

I was going for the loose watercolor look with these whimsical flowers.  I saw a video a few weeks ago that showcased that technique and do you think I can remember who it was so just had to try it on my own. 

I used embossed with clear EP and then used Distress Inks to water color.  This is a new set that I got at Impress, Avery Elle, Floral Frame.  First time to use it, then noticed after I was done that Colleen Begley had used the same stamp set.  Well at least I used a different technique.

Curtain Call May 1st. Charming & CAS Mix Up May Challenge

 

I'm sitting here stamping with Colleen  She got here about 1:00 today.  So much fun.  It helps to have the input of someone else.  She helped me with my bow.  In fact, she said no that won't do and took it from me and fixed it for me.   Hee Hee.   I guess when you've been friends for as many years as we have that you can tell them when something doesn't look right.
