A second card for Time Out #84

A second card that I can enter into the Time Out Challenge
'Flowers and Friends make life a garden'

This is a new another new stamp set that Colleen got me for my birthday.  It is Ellen Hutson's, Courage stamp and die set.
I used CP inks for the flowers and the background frame is sponged with DOX Wilted Violet
We had a great time at the Scrapbook Expo.  Lots of goodies to buy which we did our share of....
Used PTI's Mix and Mat Scallop and Flourishes Dies
Nuvo Jewel Drops

Thanks for stopping by.

Time Out #84

A card for Time Out  I have been busy with  Colleen making cards using different techniques and no particular challenges in mind.  I had this card I  made using first and second generation stamping and then die cutting a portion and switching the two.  The 2nd generation is the smaller rectangle.  This was a technique that Jennifer McGuire showed on her blog.  So I found the challenge on Time Out which is still running that I can enter it into.  Yeah!!!
The challenge is:
'Flowers and Friends make Life a Garden'

Time Out #57 'May All your weeds be wild flowers' & CASology #198 Stencil

I haven't been in my craft room to create all week and I was really ready to be here.
When I saw the topic on Time Out, I knew exactly what I wanted to use.

'May All your weeds be wild flowers'

I just saw that I can also enter this into CASology

This Lisa Johnson stencil called Peaceful Wildflowers.  Of course the stencil isn't like pictured here so I had to cover up some images as I sponged the ones I wanted then turn the stencil upside down to get others.  And of course I tried other methods, like my Brushos and Zig pens to watercolor and did not have much luck with them.  Loll made a beautiful background with a stencil and her Brushos, but mine did not turn out like hers.
Anyway this is it and I used Distress Inks to sponge on then because they were so plain tried to add some details by hand, which is not good since I can't even draw stick people.  Also put some white Perfect Pearls on the flowers which is hard to see in the photo.
Used some PTI vellum and embossed with Liquid Platinum and some embroidery thread.

Thanks for stopping by.
