The Flower Challenge #8 CASE a DT Member

 

A card for The Flower Challenge is to CASE a DT Member

 

This is the card I selected to CASE by Tae-Eun

There is no way I could compete with these gorgeous flowers, believe me I tried but I didn't have a big enough flower and most of all my Copic skills are not nearly that good.

So I opted to go with the design, using my new Oxide inks to blend the two corners and then used PTI's Garden Gild Cover Plate to die cut it.  I die cut again so I could dry emboss the middle section 

with a Cuttlebug leafy EF.

The sentiment is on PTI's Double Ended Banner with Keeping it Simple Get Well.

I masked off both sides of card and sponged with Distress Inks, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserve and Dusty Concord

Then stamped with PTI's Garden Gild.

Colour Me. #78 Monochromatic

 

A card for Colour Me 

A technique by Laura on PTI's MIM this week.  Adding color to cover plates. In the first card the white space looked so white that I decided to add some sponging around the sentiment and completely ruined the card.  In Laura's video she did add sponging but before she adhered the cover plate.  Bad mistake to do it after.   DARN....Or I could have added some sequins, bling.....Too late now.  Not even able to salvage the cover plate...

So I started over again trying water color Zig pens and didn't like that so this is the third one this time again with Copics.  Added some sequins.  And that is all I have accomplished today.

My card for MIM 

I used Garden Gild flowers on the outside stamping and the same color theme as Danielle.  Looks so bright and summery.

Swoosh Die, Bitty Bouquets for inside flower.  Didn't have any gold thread so used scribble circles die cut in gold.

My card for my Secret Sister in a group that I belong to.  We have our Revelation tonight our last meeting for the year.  We will start up again in September.

Isn't that die just so gorgeous?  It is PTI's Garden Gild.  I had this image that I stamped when Colleen was up visiting so I could watercolor.  I used the Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens.  I really love these.   No.40 Lt. Green, 045 Pale Green, 022 Carmine Red, #032 Persian Blue
