I actually had colored this and it was sitting on my table ready to be used.  When I saw the inspiration photo, I knew that I could use it for this challenge.

I was inspired by the pink and orange on the all white bed for my CAS card.  Also, the swirly pattern on the pillows.

Was struggling about what Challenge to do, everything was still wintery scenes and I wanted to do something different so  I went with a card for The Card Concept

Yeah, flowers and pretty things.

The strip is actually gold and white.  It almost looks black in the photo.

The Card Concept #54 Spring Flowers

My card for The Card Concept

 

I lilacs are one of my favorite flowers.  I didn't use a lilac but this new stamp set from PTI that I just got yesterday.  So I was drawn to the purple colors but decided to add some yellow too.  And I used the CAS style.

Friendship Jar Flowers and Just the Jar.  I had mistakenly bought the jar die a couple of years ago and was so happy when they came out with the stamp for it.  Now I can use it.

I stamped the butterflies in H/A Ombre Inks which really didn't get too much of the ombre look.  Then I used a stencil over it and sponged with Distress Inks.  I love how that turned out.

A very sweet and talented lady,  Marybeth Lopez sent me these cupcakes because I posted that I didn't have a single cupcake stamp set.  I have finally gotten around to making a card with them.  I have a thing about cupcake cards, they usually don't turn out very well.  I think this turned out pretty cute.  I would consider this clean & layered.  Thanks Marybeth.
