My youngest son, Brad is getting re-married on Saturday, the 17th.  I am so excited and happy for him.  He called on Thursday and asked if I could help him make this gift for his fiance, Ramie.  She is just such a special person and we love her.   These are the papers she used to make up the table going into the wedding.
I think he thought we would just whip this out in 15 minutes or so, but it took us about 2-1/2 hours.  It was a fun project for us.

Thanks for stopping by.

Was going to try and watercolor these with my Kuretake water color pens but didn't have much success so decided just to stamp with the colors.  It looks brighter in real life.

Curtain Call - Bouquet - 4-15-15

A card for Curtain Call

Using the colors in the bouquet I created this background paper.  I heat embossed the flowers and then watercolored with Distress Inks
Then I smooshed another piece of watercolor paper with the same Distress Inks
and cut out the frame which cuts out two pieces using the outside piece.  Then I popped the sentiment piece on fun foam.

PTI's Doodlie Do, Keep It Simple Frame, Vintage Cream Cardstock , Spring Rain background
Watercolor paper
Distress Inks, Seedless Preserves, Dusty Concord, Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint, Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade, Barn Door, Fired Brick, Ripe Persimmon & Peacock Feathers.

Muse #75 by Vicki Dutcher

My card for Muse
I watercolored with Distress Inks, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Squeezed Lemonade and then set a Heidi Swapp flower stencil over the top but it really didn't show up.  I remember trying this in the Water Color classes and had the same problem.  Oh well, I think the background is pretty anyway.
PTI's Fabulous Frames and heart dies & Doodlie Do stamp and die.  I sponged the same 3 Distress Inks on the flower.

PTI's MIM #171 Pop Up Die Cuts with Betsy

My card for MIM .  Click to play along.
PTI's Doodlie Do, Embellished Elegance in Simply Chartreuse, Raspberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst, Harvest Gold and Hawaiian Shores.
Some clear Wink of Stella in middle of flower and some pink bling.
The flower doesn't work as well as the butterfly because there are no see through parts on it.    I will have to try this with the butterfly.
