I rarely color animals usually just flowers and butterflies.  I just got this stamp set from Stamps of Life, Hedgehogs 2 Stamp.  I belong to the club and I get sent a stamp set each month.  I thought this was a good way to get some cutesy sets cause I don't normally buy them.  They always have puny sayings too.   Anyway, I thought this little guy was pretty cute.

Colored him with Copics and sponged the background with Distress Inks.

PTI's Heart to Heart #2 & 10, Take 3 Die- The strip and butterflies are backgrounds that I created when visiting my friend, Colleen, using Liquid Pears & scrunched up saran wrap. Makes such pretty backgrounds.  Then sponged on the color.

Used Distress Inks to smoosh on the squares.

A new technique that Colleen and I discovered this morning from Loll through Darnell's blog.  The butterflies and the stripe are all from this technique.

Using Perfect Pearls and then sponging over it.  I linked it to Loll's video in a previous post.  So we went to town making several different backgrounds.  Love this technique and the beautiful backgrounds that they create.

I had watercolored this awhile ago and decided to use it for this card.

PTI's Botanical Blocks #II watercolored with Distress Inks after embossing in white - painting first with water and then dropping in the colors to let them blend on their own.  Fun technique.

The panel is Pearlescent embossing paste colored with Winter Wisteria on Chevron stencil.

 Used some Wink of Stella, clear on flower, hard to see.
