Merry Monday #236 with Lori

 

Oh wow, last Wednesday had no mojo when trying to make this card.  My friend sent me a couple of cards to help me and I so on Sunday morning I was able to come up with this fun card.  I like how this turned out.  The watercolored background is one I found in my stash that was perfect after several tries with smooshing, using my Ziggs etc.  Should have looked there first.  

This week our host is Lori and she wants us to use Stockings on our card.  Come join us at Merry Monday

 

PTI's Stocking Prints, using CP's inks,  Colored a panel with my Ziggs and then die cut them out.  I used Clear Wink of Stella on stockings and then on the words forgetting that the Zigg colors with re-activate.  Darn.

Merry Monday #172 - Use Rainbow Colors

 

Welcome to Merry Monday.  

This week Kristi's challenge is to use rainbow colors on your card.  And that definitely was a challenge for me.

MFT Brick Wall stencil- sponged on with Distress Ink, Fired Brick, sponges a sheet in Distress Inks the colors of the rainbow then die cut PTI's Stocking Prints in different areas to get different parts of the rainbow.

The holly is from Tag It's #9 

Added my three granddaughters names to the stocking and some Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

My card for Merry Monday 

It has been almost a week since I have been in my craft room.  I came down with a horrible summer cough/cold.  Still not feeling good but just needed to play today.  This turned out just OK to me....
