Stamping and Experimenting with my BFF

So enablers like Darnell and Marcia made Colleen and I have to buy more goodies.  And they both linked back to Loll.  We had to get on Amazon and order some Inka Gold.    Darnell used Liquid Pearls(for a faux Mother of Pearl BG) and Marcia used Inka Gold to make the most beautiful backgrounds.  These are some of the backgrounds I created trying out these techniques. These are all using the Inka Gold technique but have posted some cards using the Liquid Pearls.
Click on the link to watch both of these techniques and others too.

Well, my stamping days with my friend are about coming to an end.  I am leaving today about 1:30 and dropping Colleen off so she can watch the rest of the VB tournament that Lily is in and I can get back to my duties at home.  Darn....

Another Easter Card with Faux Mother of Pearl Technique.

Another Easter card with a new technique that Col and I discovered from Loll through Darnell.
It is using Liquid Pearls to create these beautiful Faux Mother of Pearl backgrounds.  We have making several in different colors.  The side panel, the grass and the eggs are made from these packgrounds.  Love it.  We didn't have any Liquid Pearls (what??) so we used Viva Pearl Pen and Airondack Metallics Acrylic Paint Pearl Dabber and they worked just fine.
I think I can enter this into

Look for the video by Loll showing how to make these gorgeous backgrounds.

Make It Monday #211 Using Gelatos (Chalk) with Stamps with Melissa

This is a technique by Melissa using gelatos.  Now, I have managed not to buy gelatos, so I had to improvise.  I used chalk.  Do you think it has the same effect?
I also forgot to use Linen cardstock.  Darn, that would have given it more texture.
You can watch her video Here
I had to try it on Linen cardstock, so made this tag with Basic Bookmark #3
I like the look and texture with the linen cardstock.

On-Line Class - Stenciled - Laura Bassen Heat Embossing

My second card for the Class using Laura Bassen's technique
Stencil from JoAnn's on PTI's Vintage Cream and Harvest Gold card stock
Distress Inks, Spiced Marmalade, Tattered Rose, and Fired Brick
I don't think I got enough Versamark on part of the stencil and my embossing powder has some specks in it.
