Color Hues #49

Just squeezing this on the last full day of Color Hues Challenge

I have been trying to get to it for several days and was finally able to today.

Altenew's Fragrant Florals, stencil, 3D EF and die with Gina K. Inks.  Background is Echo Park Diagonal Buffalo Plaid.  I have just rediscovered this Stencil and I'm loving it.    It's hard to see in the photo but is very pretty IRL.

This is such a large flower that it doesn't fit on a A2 card so had to cut some edges.  I used the EF but it doesn't look like it.

Color Throwdown #709

Getting back into the groove of being able to enter challenges again.  No more watching the triplets 2 days a week.  They started Pre-School for the first-time last week.  See below for post on their first day.

AAA Cards #223

I am hoping to play in my craft room more and get into a routine entering card challenges.

It is bittersweet as the triplets just started Pre-School for the first time today. The last 4 years my sister and I used to babysit for them 2 days a week to help mom and dad out.  They will be going 4 days a week and so won't have that time together.  They are only 10 minutes away so we should still see them often and I'm sure mom & dad will want some date nights.  The post before this one is on their first day. 

Anyway, so it has been a really long time since I have entered AAA Cards challenge.  Here is my card.

I masked the sides and used Gina K's inks to blend the strip.  Used Gina K's Friendly Silhouettes stamp set and Clearly Besotted Butterfly Wishes for the sentiment.

Triplets started Pre-School Today

Our babies our going to school.

First day of school pictures.

Their backpacks are almost as big as they are.

Oh my gosh how can this be.  It seems not that long ago we were contemplating how we were going to take care of three babies at once.  Triplets!!!

So, for the first time in 4 years we will no longer be watching them 2 days a week.  Today is our first Tuesday without them and it seems quiet.  HaHa.

The drop off went pretty well.  Anna and Connor started to cry but were fine after a couple of minutes.  I think it is harder on Ramie than on the kids.  Because of Covid, this is the first time they have been left with anyone other than family.  A couple of months ago, the triplets Nanny gave her notice so Ramie was faced with either finding another one or putting them in Pre-School.  Needless to say, she has been very stressed about it, but found a great school that she was happy with. 

These little babies have been so fun and such a blessing.

Color Hues #48 and Seize the Birthday #246, Plus NBUS #42

Color Hues is celebrating its 2nd birthday and STB is collaborating with Color Hues.  I am joining the celebration with this card, which has really taken a sharp turn on what I was intending to do.  Lol.  It seems like I always end up with pretty much the same design and so finally came up with something out of my norm.  I was determined to change things up a bit and finally came up with something I was happy with.

Happy Birthday Color Hues.

I used Gina K's Star Studded & Layering Confetti Stencils with her inks, Navy and Key Lime.

The butterfly is from Pink Fresh Small butterflies and the sentiment is from PTI's Birthday Bash Sentiments.
