Just Us Girls #644

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love to make butterfly cards.  Just had to create a card for JUGS
this week, as the word is butterflies.  It's been quite a while since I have made a card for Jugs and would love to get back into a routine to join my favorite challenges.

I used a technique from Gina K. where she scribbles Zig markers on a page and then spritzes water on them to blend the colors.  I used Bristol paper as that is the best paper for me to get Zigs to move.  Then cut out the butterflies with Rubberneck's Butterflies are Free dies.  And a branch from one of Gina's sets.  I had a lot more butterflies in this color and a green color but had 3 little munchkins in my craft room and they seemed to disappear. (not the munchkins, the butterflies.)  These were the only 2 left.  Lol
I used Gina's Fizzy Stencil in Applemint for the background.

Thanks for stopping by.

Linda…I am so glad you joined Just Us Girls this week. I hope you do make us a part of your routine. I love your butterflies! Thank you for sharing your method. I would never thought of “smooshing” Zig markers. Your card is simply delightful.

Things go missing from my craft room too when the grands come over, but at least you still had 2 left to make this beautiful card Lin!! I love pink and orange together, and they really pop against your fun polka dotted background!! FABULOUS card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
