My second month of Guest Designing for The Heart Desires 

I used this cute Wild Rose Mummy Fox and Baby that I purchased from the shop. I colored them with Copics.  It was a little bigger than I thought it was going to be so had to come up with another idea for using it.

I decided on a creature, some plaid and the wood background from this inspiration photo.

The Heart Desires #5 Guest Designer

 

Imagine my surprise when I was asked to be the Guest Designer for The Heart Desires for the months of October & November.

This is my first card for October where I chose to use the Colors and Large Sentiment

I picked up a few items form The Heart Desires Shop

This pretty leaf stencil from Carta Bella Stencil

 as well as  Avery Elle  Dotted Border Dies.  It is hard to see in the picture, but it is on the bottom of the card.

The Tag is from PTI and Melon Berry Ink.  Distress Inks for sponging

The Heart Desires #4

 

My card for this month's The Heart Desires 

 

I took the colors and the element of black & white stripes.  I love black and white so made a page of them to use on my cards.  I used and MFT Diagonal Stripes Background Stamp and that trusty Misti so I could get really good coverage.  I forgot to stamp the sentiment in gray so had to put some tiny butterflies in gray.

Impress Succulents & Gold striped washi tape colored with Ziggs.  I see I should have wiped off the back line to make it more realistic.  Oh well.
