My son, Brad fulfilled a long time dream of climbing to the summit at Mt. Rainier this past week.
Here are a few pictures.  His cousin, Shawn was supposed to go with him, but pulled something in his neck and was unable to go.  So Ramie, his wife of two weeks, said she would try it.  She is a great hiker but had not trained for it.  She made it to Camp Muir, 10,000 ft, and tried that night at midnight to go.  That is the time they go in the dark and can only see a couple of feet in front of them.  Scary....  About one hour into it she had to turn and go back to Muir.  She said it was too hard.  Two guys also turned around.  We are so proud of both of them, Brad for making it and Ramie for even trying.

 Brad is on the right

Plus we are dealing with trying to figure what to do with my dad who will be 97 in August.  He needs more care and needs either someone all day or an Adult Family Home.  That has weighed hard on me and my sister.  Hard to focus on card making.  We have a couple of people working on things for us.  Maybe you could keep us in your prayers that we are able to find the right solution for him....
