My card for this week's MIM  

PTI's Beautiful Butterflies & Embellished Elegance in Aqua Mist, Berry Sorbet, Lemon Tart & Lavender Moon.

I had the Happy die in black but it was too stark so decided to use Aqua Mist pattern paper.

I love sponging backgrounds.  I think they turn out so pretty.

PTI's Beautiful Butterflies in Hibiscus Burst & Harvest Gold, and Fresh Ink Sky Blue

PTI's Aqua Mist Pattern Paper and Ribbon- under vellum

Ranger's Liquid Platinum embossing powder

I tried using Sweet Life of this card and another one and it would just ink up the outside and I couldn't get any ink in the middle.  Not sure why.  Then I tried the butterflies and that seem to work good.

PTI's Boutique Borders Birthday, Beautiful Butterflies, and Happy Hydrangea for the sentiment in Berry Sorbet, Hawaiian Shores, & Simply Chartreuse

The sentiment and borders were heat embossed with Black embossing powder

The white portion with black border was popped up and adhered to Spring Moss cardstock
