I couldn't miss out on entering this month's Twofer Challenge using flowers.
I used Gina K.s Inspiring Poppies with a technique that she showed us on one of her live videos on FB using colored pencils and Gamsol making a window card.
The second card is a Sympathy card using DOX and PTI's Keep It Simple, Sympathy. The oval is from Taylored Expressions Oval Stencil.
Thanks for stopping by.

These are both amazing, Lin! I need to pull out a flower and join in the fun! I LOVE flowers, so perfect time to make two cards with one stamp!!
What a beautiful poppy stamp that is! It's one of my favorite flowers and I only have 11 poppy stamps. Do you think I can justify buying one more, lol! I love your coloring with the pencils and gamsol on the window card and how you made the soft sky! And your blended oval is a lovely background for your poppy silhouette on your sympathy card! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #27! Take care and keep well!! Hugs, Darnell
WOW...these are both BEAUTIFUL Lin!! Wasn't Gina's window technique so much fun?! I have seen so many pretty cards made with her Poppy set and wouldn't you know it's out of stock right now...grrrrrr!! But anyway, you did a beautiful job with the coloring on the 1st card (and your cloudy background too!), and an awesome job on the blending and silhouettes of the same Poppy stamp! Two lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Twofer Challenge! Hugs. :0)
Two simply beautiful cards Linda....love the sweet flowers you used!
Both cards are so pretty Lin! I love how you used the poppies in such different ways. Two stunning cards!!
Two lovely cards. Love the stenciled oval background with the poppies in black. The split design on the first card looks great also. TFS
What a gorgeous poppy stamp, Linda, and you have used it beautifully. Twice! Love the coloring with pencils and gamsol! And the bended oval is the perfect place to stamp this outline! Great Twofers, my friend! Have a lovely Memorial Day weekend!
I love the look of your divided panel with those beautiful poppies! I'm always looking for sympathy card ideas and I love how you ink blended the oval and left the image uncolored! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
Two really lovely cards. I too love poppies, stamps and the real flowers. Great blending, Linda.
Those poppies are so pretty. You've highlighted them so nicely in both silhouette and window forms. Thanks so much for playing along at Twofer Card Challenge.
Two lovely cards using your poppies Lin! Such pretty designs on each! One with coloring and one just stamped over a background - so different with the same stamp! xx
