Two cards for two challenges
The first challenge is to use CAS and One Image + Optional twist Shimmer
And the second challenge was Monochromatic
First, I embossed the butterflies with clear embossing powder then used my Ziggies to watercolor both Avery Elle Butterflies.
My Bff, Colleen gave me the two background pieces so I do not know the name of them.
The yellow piece behind the butterfly was from my stash
I did use a little shimmer on the black portion of the wings but hard to see.
It was fun to make something other than a Christmas card.

LOVE the vibrancy of your gorgeous butterflies, Lin! So pretty with the die-cut backgrounds over coloured (or smooshed) papers. LOVELY design!! xx
These are stunning, Lin! Thank you for the inspiration ~ I have those corner dies and love how you've put a beautiful butterfly perched on them!! Hugs, Darnell xxoo

Two beautiful colour variations! Love them both! The backgrounds remind me to use those corner dies!
Linda, these are fantastic. Your watercolor is beautiful and the shading is so perfect. I love the overlay with the corner die cuts.
