CAS Christmas February 2019 Reminder

So I have decided I will need to make at least 5 cards per challenge so that I will have enough when time comes to send them out again.

This is a reminder that the challenge is at the half way mark. You still have plenty of time to join us. My Bff, Colleen is the hostess this month and she wants us to use Peace on our cards.

Twofer Card Challenge #13

Being snowed in has its advantages, like playing in my craft room.

I got to play in the Twofer challenge

Hopefully they are different enough to qualify. Looking at them now, I should have gone with my first design of a banner instead of the balloon again.

I used 3 different stamp set with stars in it and used on both cards.

The first is a Birthday card and then a Graduation card.

I did take a drive around the block and did fine but don't know what the main streets look like. They are most likely better than our neighborhood.

PTI - Laurie's Fabulous Favorites Challenge #1

So this is the 1st of PTI's Win It Wednesday Challenge

I am trying to use NBUS stamp sets that have been sitting on my desk for months and Mixed Bouquet is one of those sets. There are so many pieces to this set, if was hard to put them together, but finally was able to make a bouquet.

Round two of the snow started about an hour ago. It is so beautiful but we just don't drive in it enough to feel comfortable driving. And our caretaker for dad just cancelled so that means we have to somehow go over there.

Hard to see but the snow is really coming down.

CAS Watercolour February 2019 Challenge

This is a card for CAS Watercolour

I really struggle with watercoloring flowers. So as you can imagine, I tried 3 different mediums my Gansai Tambi, Distress Inks and finally my Inktense Pencils. I just don't have the knack. I guess with all techniques it just takes more practice, but it seems the more I try this this worse I get. Lol.

Well we got our first major snowstorm here in the Pacific NW. Now all of you Midwest and Eastcoast people are going to laugh at us, but this is serious stuff to us. Lol. We probably have about 5 inches and is supposed to be very cold for about a week. Down in the 20's and one day 16. Brrr.

How's that for cold??? Anyway we have lots of hills everywhere so it is not fun trying to get around in this stuff and especially when it turns to ice. So I am not going anywhere, just staying in my craft room to play. Yahoo...…..
