CAS Mix Up January 2018 -2

Another card for CAS Mix Up trying this technique again using more water with Brushos and spritzed with some Shimmer.  I think that was a mistake cause it sort of moved the color around so you can't see the lines as well made by the cling wrap
Love this cover plate by PTI Winter Floral
Banner is The Ton Basic Banner
I have another one in the works, but it is still drying.  Hoping for a better result.

Thanks for stopping by.

Your background is BEAUTIFUL Lin!! I used shimmer on a couple of my tries too thinking that I was being pretty clever and that it would make a fabulous background, but I didn't get great results. Your background however came out great! And how come I don't have that cover plate either?!! It is just lovely over your background...love it!! :0)

I love the shimmer effect, certainly not a mistake. The colour is so beautiful and I love the open die cut, great frame for your background :)

Actually, Linda...I think your cling wrap Brushos background turned out absolutely beautifully, my friend. Your die cut cover plate is gorgeous with your background. TFS and so pleased you joined us at CAS Mix Up. Hopefully you can make a CAS card with your 2nd background too. Hugs..

The background on this is stunning Lin! Maybe we can add this technique to the list of what we'll do in Kansas. I've never tried it before and can learn so much from you, Colleen and Marcia! I'm counting the days...
