Make It Monday #194 Sympathy Cards and Stamped Borders

Oh my gosh, it has been way too long since I have made a card.  I think it's been 43 days.  When I got back from Hawaii on November 29th, I really did not have the desire to come into my craft room.  I thought, oh no, have I lost my desire to make cards?  I think that  the fact that it was 4 weeks till Christmas and I was not completely ready yet that my mind was totally into the Christmas spirit.  It even made it more so because it was snowing when we got off the plane and it really was beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Oh and I got a photo light box from my nephew and his girlfriend and this is my first picture using it.  I wasn't sure what I was doing, but I think this came out ok.  Well, I will need to practice with it some more.
So we had a wonderful Christmas and now I need to make a birthday card for my granddaughter, Maddy, who will be 14 on Monday, the 29th.  A few days ago I tried to make a card for her but my mojo was just not working.  So finally, I came into my room and was able to make this card for
Make It Monday with Melissa Phillips and I must say I was happy with it.  Usually, I like softer, clean and simple Sympathy cards.
PTI's Meadow Greens, in Aqua Mist and Sweet Blush, Butterfly Dreams and Words of Comfort.
Now I need to make a card for Maddy.  I think I will use this technique on her card too.
I have made a few comments here and there but now it's time to get back into making comments on a regular basis.

VERY pretty card Linda and congrats on being chosen the winner! My mojo's been missing a bit of late too...I think we get SO busy with prep for Christmas that the brain gets too cluttered and the creative juices don't flow. (although you'd never know with this card...it really is a beauty and I love the colors you chose!!) Hopefully we'll all get back on track soon...I need to come up with a birthday card for Wednesday for my niece! Take care.
