The STB Challenge is hosted by JoAnn and she would like us to use our Favorite Color.  Red and Purple are my favorite colors so I picked purple for my card.  I struggle getting a true red color to turn out.  Come see what all of the other DT's have created to inspire you and join us in the challenge. 

I used a new birthday gift from Col, a stamp kit with stencil, die and stamp set. SSS Butterfly Blossoms with Gina K's ink light, medium and dark lilac.

Seize the Birthday #309 - Glenda - Food and or Drink

  Glenda is our host at STB and she would like us to make a card with Food/and or Drink.  This was quite a challenge for me as I don't have many food/drink stamp sets.  I also ended up making a fairly busy card for me.  I tend to go for CAS cards.

I used PF Citrus Twist Stencil and stamp/die set embossed in gold, using Gina K. Inks.  I also used Gina's The Good Life, stamp and die set colored with Copics.

Seize the Birthday #308 Cathy - Silhouette

Cathy is our hostess for the 2nd Challenge in June for STB and she would like us to use a Silhouette on our cards.  Silhouette cards are so easy and fun to make and create such a pretty card.  Just sponge in a masked area and then stamp an image in black.  Come look at all of the inspiration from the team and join us in our challenge.

I used Gina K's Blue-Sky ink, and the top 2 images are from her Friendly Silhouettes.  The bottom image is from Penny Black Delicate Silhouettes.  The embellishments are from Scrappy Tails.

Color Hues #111 Coral and Green & Darnell's NBUS #75

It has been a long time since I have entered any challenges.  I was inspired to enter Color Hues challenge using Coral and Green, coral being one of my favorite colors.

I used Gina K's new Ruffled Blooms kit, stencil and die, with her Coral inks.  The sentiment is from Gina's, Build a Greeting stamp set and die.  This floral is so big and does not quite fit on an A2 card.

Today's STB challenge is hosted by our fantastic leader, Nancy and she would like us to make a card with layers on it.

  This was definitely a challenge for me, as I usually create clean and simple cards.  After I get all the pattern paper on it, I struggle what to put on it, so it isn't too busy.  I looked through all my stash of flowers and butterflies and came up with nothing, so I needed to stencil some more butterflies in colors that I felt would match the paper. 

 

I used Gina K's inks on PF's Small Butterflies, stencil, stamps, and dies.  The paper is from Gina also, Watercolor Floral
