Merry Monday #274 with Nina

This week Nina wants a card with snow on it, so I used the adorable Avery Elle, Frosty Friends stamp set colored with Copics.

Used some snow crystals on the on the sign and Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops in the center of the snowflakes.  Also some clear Wink of Stella on the snow people.

CAS Mix Up January 2018 -2

Another card for CAS Mix Up trying this technique again using more water with Brushos and spritzed with some Shimmer.  I think that was a mistake cause it sort of moved the color around so you can't see the lines as well made by the cling wrap

Twofer Card Challenge #1 with Darnell

Everyone's good friend, Darnell has started a new challenge for all of us.

Twofer Card Challenge

I thought this would be quite a challenge for me, but my mojo was working well and I think I did both of these cards in less than an hour and it only took me one time for each.  Love when that happens.  Of course, I sort of had an idea for the first one as I was laying awake at 3 in the morning thinking of it and a hint of how I wanted to do the second.  But to actually have them work is a MIRACLE...Lol

PTI's Feather Finery embossed in the first card and added some Nuvo Drops and then the second with CP inks and some Gina K. Foil Mates.  Doesn't show in the picture but the strip has blue marbled through it.  It's very pretty IRL.

CAS Mix Up January Challenge with Cling Wrap

I struggled with this technique a bit.  I didn't have any spray starch and just tried it without that.  The cling wrap didn't stay adhered  to the paper so I didn't get any designs with it.  I finally used some Gesso on it first and then tried it and this one took.  I used Brushos on it.

I used Ranger - Pink EP which is very close to Berry Sorbet on PTI's Modern Background Stencil

Then sponged some Berry Sorbet and added BS pattern striped paper.

Used Flower Power with CP inks.

Now if you know me at all, I am not a critter type of stamper.  So this was a challenge for me, but I remembered I had this fox from Kay Miller's Stylized Autumn stamp set from PTI, so thought I would give it a try.   The pattern paper is also PTI's Winter Woods.  I was pleased that it turned out.

CAS Watercolour Challenge January 2018 & Seize the Birthday Anything Goes

It seems like forever since I have done the CAS Watercolour Challenge

Don't think I entered last month.

I decided to also enter this into STB

Memory Box Sentiment Iris water colored with Distress Inks.  It took me three tries to get it right.

Tried my Ziggs, then Inktense Pencils and then this one.  I embossed the outline in white and dropped in the color on a petal with water.
