CAS Mix Up January 2020 Challenge

A card for CAS Mix Up
Starting out the week on a good note, playing in my craft room.
I really like this technique.  Not sure why I don't use more often.  (I just forget about it until someone brings it up again.) LOL

I used Gina K Whimsical Wildflowers colored with Copics,
PTI Birthday Bash Sentiment
PTI Melon Berry Striped card stock

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Linda , I love this card! I clicked on it so I could see if you have a cut edge, I see that you do. I don't know why I don't do that more too, it adds so much to the card and I love the stripes!. Happy you are back in your craft room.

Your flowers are beautiful and so perfect for the partial die cut technique! Love how you've added the striped paper that's a perfect shade and even the font of the sentiment mimics the round flowers! Beautifully thought out, Lin!

Beautiful card. Love your coloring of those pretty flowers and the pretty matching striped paper. Great design for the partial die-cut theme. I am like you and forget about this technique until I see it again. TFS

You have done a beautiful job with the challenge Linda! I love the look but wrestle with cutting the part I want and not cutting the part I don't : ) I must agree with Bonnie - that sentiment was an excellent choice!

I'm the exact same way, Lin! I'm at the point where I'm even forgetting that I've tried a thing before, which is okay because then it's fun all over again, lol! I love the way you used this technique for your design. Your coloring is fabulous and I love the striped border! Thank you for the inspiration ~ I've never been successful with partially die-cutting anything so wish me luck! Hugs, Darnell
