PTI's Blog Hop December 2018

Yahoo after several weeks of not being able to play in my craft room.  I was able to make two cards and they both came together easily.  Love when that happens.

Make It Monday #345 with Lizzie Creating Ombre Sentiments & Triplets

Wow it has been such a long time since I have played in my craft room.  I was able to make a card for this week's MIM with Lizzie and it went really well.  I really miss crafting.
Click to see Lizzie's card and video creating Ombre Sentiments
I sponged Distress Inks in an ombre pattern and then die cut Bold Borders, Yuletide
The sentiment is Ombre Sentiments Christmas which is really green.  It almost looks black in the picture.  Nuvo Jewel Drops - Strawberry.

And now a few pictures from the Triplets wishing you all a Merry Christmas
They are 7 months and will turn 8 months on December 26th.  Wow, how can that be?
They are all on the verge of crawling, rolling all over the living room now, getting stuck under the couch and too close to the Christmas tree trying to get the ornaments.  And when we come in and they look up and smile at us it just warms your heart.  Love these babies so much....

Here are our little gifts from God.

Here are big sisters, Avery with Connor, Maddy with Anna and Kailey with Justin
I am so blessed.

Ramie calls these her second set of Triplets

PTI's November Blog Hop 2018

Finally able to enter a card for this month's Blog Hop
I seem to have missed the last couple.
I knew what I wanted to do but struggled to get it to turn out.  I'm blaming it on the cold I have and no mojo.
I used PTI's No Strings Attached, Sprigs & Spruce, Sweet Holiday Wishes and Minute to Make Tags.
with CP inks.

It's 4:30 pm PST and I almost forgot to post my card to the Blog Hop.   Just a busy day, taking care of my dad, finishing up the inside of my house decorations while watching the Seahawks beat the Panthers.  Yahoo!!!  Then my sister and I went to work on the outside decorations because it was nice today but the rest of the week it looks like rain.  I am pooped....Still have more outside decorations to put up.

CAS Watercolour November 2018 Challenge & Triplet Update

A card for this month's CAS Watercolour

It took me 3 times to come up with this card.  I first tried with my Distress Inks, then tried my Gansai Tambi and I didn't care for either of these.  Then I decided to try my Inktense Pencils for that watercolor look, which I liked much better.
Avery Elle Holiday Bouquet
PTI's Bold Borders for the sentiment
PTI's Pierced Feature Frame Oval

And I have had many requests for a triplet update.
On the 26th they turned 6 months old.  Wow time flies.  And they are just the cutest and sweetest babies. (well most of the time).  Justin seems to be the one who needs more attention.  Lol  He is rolling over, then after about 10 seconds gets mad cause he can't get back over yet.  Connor is turning to the side in his sleep and on the verge of turning over.  Anna turned over a couple of times several weeks ago but hasn't done so since.
They are all talking, squealing and laughing.  Oh my gosh it is just so precious to see.  They had their 6 month check up and seem to be closing the gap from the premature status.
Here you go, you asked for pictures and there were so many cutes ones.

The Card Concept #101 Rustic Fall

A rustic fall card for The Card Concept

I was inspired by the fall colors using The Ton Fresh Cut Dahlias and PTI's Autumn Pumpkins in CP inks.
Clean and Simple, but sorry I added the Nuvo drops.  Think I got carried away.

Color Throwdown #517 & Birthday Card for Avery

Here is a card for this week's CTD using the colors below

I made a really easy card using Pretty Pink Posh Cherry Blossoms as a background and PTI's Banner Style and Keep It Simple Birthday for the sentiment

This is a card I made for my Granddaughter Avery who will be 13 on November 3rd.  She is quite excited to finally be a teen.  I remember those days, (sort of). Haha!
I used this cute little Santoro Holly that I got from my lovely friend Birgit at our retreat last March and colored her with Prisma colored pencils.
The die is PTI's Pierced Feature Frames - Oval

Make It Monday #341 Painted Background Brushstokes

A card for this week's MIM with Dawn
I used my Kuretake paints for my background and PTI's Shape Shifters Circle #3 Die to make this Get Well Card

Dawn's cards
Dawn_McVey_Make_It_Monday_October_2018_2
I started my card this morning, my only day of crafting, but was interrupted to go watch my dad from 1-3, so it is hard to continue with any mojo.

And tomorrow I get to go help with those babies who are now 6 months old and are talking, smiling and laughing.   In addition to that, they are on the verge of rolling over.  They are getting so fun.  They were out of town last week so it's been over a week since I have seen them.  Can't wait.
