Here are the two cards I made for the Step It Up - Embellishments. I love this color combination. Should use it more often. The sentiment is from Iconic Images. The butterfly in the first card is SS. Butterfly, and the other butterfly on the second card is from Butterfly Dreams. The center is from Flower Fusion #12 and I stamped it from a center from All about you. Then put a little bling on each one. I used the new washi tape that my BFF sent me for my birthday just today. I like that they are CAS. Thanks for stopping by. Your comments are much appreciated.
I decided to do another card for the Blog Hop. I again used Aqua Mist and the Quatrefoil is on Ocean Tides. Happy Hydrangea is the stamp set on Summer Sunrise and Lemon Tart cardstock. Ink is from Memento's Cantelope, Dandelion and Ocean Tides for the stem.
Here is my first Blog Hop card. I used Aqua Mist cardstock with Ocean Tides ink to make the background using Daydreams stamp set. I really like this color combo. Then used Summer Sunrise for a border around the Lemon Tart card. I used Memento's Dandelion and Cantelope inks. The sentiment is from Heart 2 Heart ##3.

This wedding and gift card is also for a friend at work who is getting married on June 29th.
I used an off white card stock for the card with Melon Berry and Spring Moss ink. The gift card is on Melon Merry also. The stamp set is Lacey Bouquet and the sentiment and frame are from Pretty Peonies.
So here is my second retirement card after my BFF critqued it, reminding me that the colors should be in 3's. I added the butterfly in Berry Sorbet to go with the frame and flower and added some background stamping in Aqua Mist. I knew it needed something else and she told me....Hee Hee
So, a friend from work asked me if I would make her two retirement cards and of course the answer was yes. As you see there are 3 of the first card, because when I took the picture, the rosie posie sort of blended in with the rest of the card, so I thought I would try it with different colors, the lighter pink and then a yellow. I am not sure I want to add a third color, but I do kind of like it. I used Hibiscus Burst and Hawaiian Shores for the colors. You can help me by giving your opinion which you like best.
Then the second card is made with the Pretty Peonies set, using Aqua Mist and Berry Sorbet. Not sure if it needs a little something else but not sure what. What do you think?

I used SS Butterfly and Butterfly Dreams for my puffed image on Mat Stack #1. I do not sew so had to go find a remnant at JoAnn's to make this project. The cardstock is Summer Sunrise and I used Memento's cantelope and tuxedo black ink to create the background. The borders are from Banner Borders and Double Ended Borders. And the sentiment is from Asian Fusion. Thanks for stopping by. It really makes my day to receive comments.

So I decided to make a 3rd card. I used Heart to Heart #3 stamp set, Winter Wisteria, and Spring Moss ink and card stock. The patterned paper is just something I had in my paper stash. It was already double sided. Thank you for stopping by. Leaving a comment really makes my day.

This is a second card I made using this sketch. I like this much better. I used the new Summer Sunrise patterned paper with Aqua Mist card stock. The sentiment is from Pretty Peonies.
Here is my second MIM card using the following sketch. I just got the Happy Hydrangea stamp and die set and used it on Winter Wisteria cardstock. I used Spring Moss, Winter Wisteria ink and Front and Center die. I am much happier with this card than the first one. Hope you stop by and leave a comment.

So this is what I did on my time off of work this past week. First, I spent a couple days in my craft room, making an MIM card, a Retro Sketches and Freshly Made Sketches cards. Nice to have the time to work on them without working. Then on Tuesday, my sister and I went to Leavenworth for 3 days. We walked, shopped and ate. It was a great time. We were hoping to sit by the pool which we did but it was only partly sunny. We came home on Thursday and I have pretty much been in my craft room since then. I usually have an idea what my Christmas cards are going to be in February, but was really struggling with them. I finally got my mojo working and this is what I came up with. What fun it is to just be home. Can hardly wait till I retire, two more years.....
