Clean & Simple #4 Day 6 with Julie - Tri-fold card

My last card for Day 6 - Tri-fold card by Julie
SSS - Friendship Butterflies in  PTI's Autumn Rose ink and Pattern Paper
Wood stamp by Judith
I think this looks better in real life than in the pictures.  Hard to photograph.

Clean & Simple #4 Day 6 with Carissa Colored Vellum

My card using Carissa's technique coloring velum.  First of all my ink mixture didn't mix up very well although I do like how this turned out.  There are little spots of the Perfect Pearls in it.
Then I think I left out some steps and did the shadow on the bottom layer so only part of the Happy has the shadow on the top.  Duh....Then she also had another piece of cardstock and layered that onto a piece of color cardstock.  Maybe need to try this again to....

Seize the Birthday Anything Goes - 1-29-15 & CASology #131 Birthday

Decided to finally try a Shaker card again.  I have had problems in the past making them.  I think it turned out pretty good, but not sure I did the back of the shaker correctly.  After I posted this on STB I remembered that I had wanted to add three hearts on the outside so did that and re-took the picture.
I will enter this into Seize the Birthday

Clean & Simple #4 Day 5 with Kristina Direct to Paper

Kristina made a circle card and I chose to just add the circle to a card.
PTI's Basic Backgrounds - Medallions in Berry Sorbet and Aqua Mist
I was such a dummy trying to make this card, that I had to watch her video about 4 times.  I didn't listen close enough to what circles to use and it just wasn't turning out like hers because I didn't use the correct ones.  Anyway, finally done and it think it turned out ok.

Clean & Simple #4 Day 4 with Jocelyn Using Embossing Paste

Clean & Simple #4 Day 4 - with Yana - Faux Embossing

I'm getting a late start today cause Thursday mornings I go shopping for my 94 year old dad, then we go to I-Hop for breakfast, and then I take him for a drive.   So I am a morning person as far as most things go including stamping.  Usually, I come home from that and sit and read and maybe take a nap (yes) take a nap....
So I Skyped with Colleen and she was still creating so I got one card done also.    Yeah for that.
Yana made her card with a word die so I thought I would try something different so chose the butterfly.   SSS Friendship Butterflies.
I had two different pink banners, but it just wasn't thrilling me, then decided on the red.  I think it is better.

Clean & Simple Class #4 Day 3- Velveteen Stamping by Karolyn Loncon

My two cards using Karolyn's technique -  Stamping a background stamp with white pigment ink and then stamping over with solid stamps to bring out the pattern in the backgound.
I used two separate backgrounds the red one is a diamond shape and the blue one is a leafy stamp
You can actually see the leafy stamp better than diamond.

Pretty Pink Posh sequins
I tried Jennifer's Technique and it didn't work like hers and don't have any Gesso to try Julie's.

NBUS Challenge #3 Hosted by Darnell

Second card that I was able to make today.  This one took a little more time.  I have trouble with fruit and cutesy type stamp sets.  I belong to Stamps of Life and a lot of her sets are cutesy with silly plays on words.  That is why this is a NBUS set.  I am entering in Darnell's 3rd NBUS challenge which you can access HERE NBUS
My birthday stash is low so I'm concentrating on them.
SOL Strawberry 2 Stamp in PTI's Pure Poppy and New Leaf for the small strawberries.
