Day 1, 2 & 3 The Coloring Challenge Road Trip On-Line Class with Kathy Racoosin

Days 1 & 2
Plucking Colors not in the same color family
and using color pencils to enhance in the nooks and crannies.  I need a lot of work on this.  I used a red color pencil on the first flower and a brown one on the second one.  I have trouble getting thin lines.  Also struggle leaving a white (sweet) spot.
The second picture is adding some white dots.

Day 2
I tried using different color plucking and like this one better, but it still needs work.
Kathy Racoosin says to be fearless.  I tried some white lines trying to be fearless.  Ugh.

Days 2 & 3
We worked on the face on Day 2 and then went on to the dress.
Finished on Day 3.
I like how this turned out better.

Another Day 3 project using Critters and using Colorless Blender for texture by putting it on a small piece of  wash cloth.
I think he turned out pretty cute.

It was a fun class with lots of tips to enhance your coloring.  Kathy always wants you to color at least 10 minutes a day to help improve your coloring.

CAS Watercolour January 20 & Seize the Birthday #180

After struggling quite a bit trying to do some watercoloring, I finally was able to create this card for
I first tried watercoloring a floral bouquet and that just did not come together.  I just have so much trouble with water colors.  I tried the wet method and dropping in colors using Distress Inks, but it just didn't turn out.  So I decided to do some watercolor smooshing and finally after some struggle again came up with this background.
I used Rubberneck Butterflies are Free stamp set and used my Ziggies.
Cottage Cutz Nested Stitched Scallop Oval dies

I have had a happy week being in my craft room several days.
So much fun....

I am also entering into STB

CAS(E) this Sketch #353 & Seize the Birthday #180

Getting time in my craft room.  A card for two challenges:
The butterfly looks weird in the picture because of the shine.  Looks better in real life.

&
The other day I got out my alcohol inks and made some backgrounds.  This is AI on foil and then embossed with EB folder.
Love how it turned out.
I used Cottage Cutz Nested Stitched Scallop dies and layered the AI in back of this top panel.  The butterfly is from Gina K Butterfly Kisses with her foil mates.
PTI's Double Ended Banner
Paper Studios EF.
