colourQ challenge #152...

ColourQ Challenge #152 which you can find Here
I used PTI's Hawaiian Shores, Fine Linen and Memento's London Fog and Bamboo Leaves.

Make It Monday #80 Make Garland - 3

I had one more idea for MIM's Making Garland.  A baby card using PTI's, It's a Jungle giraffe, Aqua Mist paper and ink, and Hibiscus Burst ink.  The background stamping is from a Fiskers baby stamp set.  The border is a piece of Washi tape.
Here is a second card that I made with the same theme.

Make It Monday #80 Making Garland - 2

Another card for MIM #80 Making Garland.  I used Little Bitty Bird Additions, the tree is from Merry Little Christmas, and the sentiments are from Little Bitty Bird Additions and Inside and Out Birthdays.   Making bird cards is always a struggle for me.  They are just ok.

Make It Monday #80 Making Garland

This is my MIM card making my own garland.  I used PTI's Beautiful Butterflies, Butterfly dreams for the die cuts, Make a Wish for the flowers and the grass is from Daydreamer.  The sentiment is also from Beautiful Butterflies.

Sunday Crafting Time

I made two sets of each of these cards.  We are having an auction at Church in November and I want to put a basket together with a variety of cards.  I also have cards being sold at my Hair Salon  and a Sorority Conclave coming up that I want to make cards for.  The 3 similar cards are ones that we made as one of the challenges by Betsy Veldman.  They are so easy and I think make such an elegant card.  Loved being back in my craft studio after being on vacation for a week.
Oh, and one more that I made this weekend for my dad who will be 92 on Wednesday.

Dynamic Duos #17 - Monochromatic Color Combo

I have been on vacation for the past week and have really missed being in my craft studio.  Not that I didn't enjoy my vacation.  So today I made this card for the DD #17 challenge which you can access Here.   I used PTI's Winter Wisteria ink and paper, Memento's Grape Jelly for the darker purple and some miscellaneous polka dot paper that I had.  Thanks for stopping by for a visit...

Sunday - August 19th - Crafting

This is what I worked on today in my craft studio.  No challenges.  I made two sets of Thank you cards using Jessica Witty's process of impressing the image instead of die cutting them.  I impressed the frame and then used the stamp set from Pretty Peonies.  I also made one set from Beautiful Butterflies, but I had posted that during SAF when we first worked on that Challenge.  Last Friday I took my excess cards into the Salon where I get my hair cut and she is going to put them out and hopefully they will sell.  I don't want to grow a business but it is fun to get some money for the cards that I make then use that towards more craft purchases.  Well, that is probably all for today.  I am on vacation this week and am going out to Lake Tapps for some relaxation, reading, and time with grandkids and family.  Should be fun....

CFC65: Create a Clean And Simple Square shaped card

CAS-ual Fridays challenge making a CAS Square shaped card. You can see Here.  I cut a 4 x 4 card out of Spring Moss and used Hibiscus Burst behind the square Nestabilities.  Then used Gracious Vases stamp set and some die cut butterflies with a little bling.

This card is for the Dynamic Duos #15 Subtle Colors Challenge, which you can see Here.  I used PTI's Spring Moss and Memento's Angel Pink ink colors.  The stamp sets are Background Basics, Natural Beauties and Fabulous Frames all from PTI.  Such a pretty color combination.

Make It Monday #78 Stamping and Stitching

Sewing is definitely not my favorite thing to do, but here it is for the MIM challenge this week.  I stitched around the butterfly, but please don't look too closely.  I used Beautiful Butterflies stamp set, with Aqua Mist, Hibiscus Burst, and Harvest Gold cardstock and ink.  Love those butterflies....I actually had meant to add some bling which is not on my first post and the one on PTI.  So, I added some bling to the 3 large butterflies.

Granddaughter's B-day card

I made this card for my granddaughter who will be 18 tomorrow. Floral Foliage is the stamp set I used.  The butterflies are from a die cut that my BFF gave me for my birthday.  Fun card...
She is getting a Mini Cooper for her birthday.  She is going to be so surprised.  Now all she needs is to take driver's ed which she is scheduled for.

Make It Monday #77: Ink Pads As Watercolors - 2

I don't have very many PTI stamp sets that are not solid images, so had to pull out one of my wooden stamps, this iris.  I used winter wisteria and simply chartreuse paper and ink for the colors on this.  Here I am again on my purple and green kick, but it is one of my favorite color combinations.

Make It Monday #77: Ink Pads As Watercolors

What a fun easy MIM using ink pads as watercolors.  I used Stitches & Swirls stamp set with Harvest Gold, Rasberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst and Memento's Tangelo.  The green is Memento's Bamboo Leaves and New Sprout.  The sentiment is from Heart 2 Heart #3.

See CAS-ual Fridays HERE
I have certain stamps that for some reason, I have a hard time making cute cards with, cupcakes is one of them and birds is the other.  And I see so many cute cards with these two stamps that I think I need to have them to try.  So here is my attempt with the birdies and I think it turned out kind of cute, (one of my better ones) using Little Bitty Bird Additions and the tree is from Merry Little Christmas.  The flowers are from Asian Fusion, and the grass from Botanical Sihlouettes.  Colors are harvest gold, blueberry sky, hibiscus burst, and pure poppy.

Make It Monday #76: Double-time Bleach Stamping - 2

Here is my second card using the double time bleach stamping.  I bleached the Mega Vases and then stamped on them with stamps from Iconic Images using Blueberry Sky.  The flowers are from Asian Fusion.  The card stock is Simply Chartreuse.  The flowers are stamped with Raspberry Fizz and Aqua Mist.

Make It Monday #76 Double Time Bleach Stamping

I was finally able to create a card for MIM Double Time Bleaching.  I had an old container of bleach and it did not work.  Luckily, I had bought another one because I wasn't sure if I had any and who would have known that bleach gets old.  This is Simple Sunflower and die cut.  The center is stamped with Memento Tangelo and the leaves are Spring Moss.

Sympathy Card for friend

I finally got motivated to make this Sympathy card for a good friend who just lost her father.  I was lucky to find that one petal to line up the two stamps in the Natural Beauties stamp set.  It is really hard to tell where it is underneath on both sides.  I like how it turned out.
