PTI's Happy Hydrangea and Mega Vases in Simply Chartreuse and Royal Velvet spritzed with water for the watercolor effect on watercolor paper.
I tried using watercolor crayons and the first one I tried turned out good, but then I ruined it by putting another color on it that I didn't care for. I must have tried about 5 or 6 times to duplicate but could not get it right. I was using Life. I tried a couple of other techniques, but was not getting what I wanted. So decided to do this technique of inking my stamp and spritzing. I like how it turned out, but it doesn't have the true watercolor look.

This is beautiful...a very lovely Mother's Day card!
the chartreuse vase sets off the purple watercolored flowers beautifully. Your mom will enjoy receiving this beauty.
I think this is so pretty and I love the way it came out!!
I like how your flowers turned out. They each look unique and that's exactly what flowers are....beautifully unique.
Very pretty, Di
very pretty
Linda, this is lovely! Your deep purple hydrangeas are a standout against the vase, which I noticed has a wonderful texture. Beautiful!
I think this turned out beautifully Linda! I used the Life set too, and had to work at it with my watercolor crayons, so I can understand your frustrations. I really like the boldness of how yours turned out though...it really "pops"!! :0)
Stunning- both the flowers and the vase turned out beautifully in my opinion!
Gorgeous! I love the striped paper with this beautiful flower!
LOVE the purple hydrangeas! It is a frustrating medium if you are trying to replicate a flower.
