This was definitely a challenge for me, as I usually create clean and simple cards. After I get all the pattern paper on it, I struggle what to put on it, so it isn't too busy. I looked through all my stash of flowers and butterflies and came up with nothing, so I needed to stencil some more butterflies in colors that I felt would match the paper.
I used Gina K's inks on PF's Small Butterflies, stencil, stamps, and dies. The paper is from Gina also, Watercolor Floral
If you're not a toppings kinda person, well...you can just
stick with our usual "Anything Goes" Birthday!

Very cool idea to make the butterflies to match the paper in your layered background. Even if you are uncomfortable with layers, you did very well.
