I am very excited to be your host for this month's, 1st challenge at STB.
Come see all of the amazing cards created by the DT's.
We would love to have you join us in our gallery.
I used Altenew's Classy Stripes Stencil to create a light background of stripes to showcase my flowers.
I don't remember what stamp set I used, but it was one I used at Darnell's when visiting her in June. She helped me watercolor these with her Ziggies. Water coloring is something I always struggle with but was happy with how these came out.
If you're not a toppings kinda person, well...you can just
stick with our usual "Anything Goes" Birthday!

What a lovely trio of flowers! this is terrific, Linda!
That striped soft background is perfect with these watercolored flowers. I have a hard time, too, with watercolor but you nailed this one. It is lovely.
Love those subtle stripes, Linda, they make those gorgeous flowers pop!
Such a pretty card, (I used the same stencil on my barn), your watercolouring looks amazing on these flowers and the soft stripes set them off perfectly, Cathy x
It was so fun watercoloring with you, Lin, and I love your results with these poppies from My Favorite Things! Your subtle stripes make the perfect background and I love the matting and circle sediment! Hugs, Darnell
Love your lightly stenciled stripes in the background. At first I thought they were embossed. Your watercolored poppies look great. Such a pretty card.
We both had "subtle stripes" in our creative minds. I am in love with your bright beautifully colored florals!
Its really fun how simple and elegant of a backdrop those soft stripes are adding, making the card look more charming. Gorgeous card, Linda!
Beautiful & striking flowers - the subtle striped background goes perfectly. Lovely card.
