I was finally able to get to my craft studio today to make a MIM card for this week. My first card I used Flower Fusion #2, 4 & 7 and the sentiment from Daydreamer.

SYMPATHY CARD
Unfortunately, I had to make a sympathy card this weekend. I belong to a Ladies Group Beta Sigma Phi and one of the ladies in our Council passed away. I made this card with Botanical Silhouettes and the Framed stamp sets to send to her husband.

The butterflies are from Butterfly Dreams and the sentiment is from Sending You stamp set. I colored the ribbon with copics.
Make It Monday #33: Frosted Images Participants - Card #3
I used Botanical Silhouettes for the flowers on this card that I frosted. The sentiment is also from Bontanical Silhouettes. The butterfy is the die cut from Butterfly Dreams.

Another Make It Monday #33: Frosted Images
When I think of the frosted images, I think of snow and winter scenes. That is why I selected Snowfall Additions and this cute little Memory Box Snowman to create my card.

Birthday Cards for Granddaughter - Weekend cards
I worked on these 3 cards this past weekend. My mojo was not working as well as other times. The first is one with Flower Fusion and the picket fence die cut. The second one is Signature Series -Dress Form. That one is going to my granddaughter for her birthday. And the third are some Stampin Up stamps that have the reverse images.

Weekend time in my Craft Studio.
I was able to play in my craft studio Friday night and Saturday for a few hours. I made 4 cards in that time frame. Two I entered into MIM and the rest I just made for my stash.
I got my inspiration for this card from a tissue decorative box that I have in my bathroom that also matches my shower curtain. The fern came from Masculine Motiffs, the flowers from Daydreamer and the butterfly from Butterfly dreams.
These flowers came from the Sending You stamp set and the grass came from Daydreamer. I used a sentiment from the Iconic Images set.
Make It Monday #31: Creating Backgrounds With Non-background Stamps Participants - Card 5
I used this Asian Fusion stamp for the background on this card and then stamped with Gracious Vases.

Make It Monday #31: Creating Backgrounds With Non-background Stamps Participants - Card 2
This card is made from Autumn Abundance. I love this stamp set. This is the first one I have done in autumn colors,
More Labor Day Cards
It is a shame to stay inside on such a beautiful day but what can I say, I love playing in my craft studio and my window is right in front of me so I can enjoy the outdoors from inside too. I spent time outside the other two days of the weekend.
These 3 card were ones I made using the SAF cards as a sample but putting a little different spin on them. The first two are from Forest Friends and the 3rd is from Simple Sunflower.

Another card - Make It Monday #30: Colored Pencils -
Another MIM card blending with color pencils. I really like this technique. I used another stamp from the Stampin Up set that I have to color and then paired it with the PTI Tea for Two stamp and die set. Purple is one of my favorite colors as you may have guessed. This one came together so easily. Thanks for stopping by...

Make It Monday #30: Colored Pencils - Two more cards
-
These are the other two cards I made on Friday.
Two more cards for the MIM blending color pencils. The first is Autumn Aubundance stamp set and the sentiment is from Iconic Images. I scored around the sentiment which you may not be able to see in the picture. The second card is from a Stampin Up wooden set that I use quite a bit. I love these tulips in a pot. I used the die cut from Sending You and the Background Basics - Gingham. I also scored this card around the edges. I used the color pencils to add a little color to the background of the paper so it wasn't so stark white
LABOR DAY WEEKEND - FRIDAY FUN
I decided to make Labor Day weekend one day longer and took off Friday. I was able to run some errands in the morning and then came home and spent from about 1:30 to 8:00 in my craft studio, (my BFF, Col says we should call it a studio rather than a room because it sounds more professional). Only made 4 cards, wow. Struggled with a couple, but made two for MIM that I will showcase next. I never get to spend that much time in my studio because I work, so it was so much fun. I have been reorganizing it and am quite happy with how it is turning out.
These two cards I made with the Sending You stamp set. I made my own DP with the smaller stamps. Stamped some leaves on the yellow with Versamark in the second card. These are the two I stuggled a bit with, but they turned out ok.
