I used this miscellaneous stamp from a Christmas stamp set using CP's Party Collection inks.  Love these inks.  I only had to stamp the bulbs one time except for the purple one which is PTI's Amethyst Allure.  PTI's Jingle all the Way for the sentiment.

Darnell's NBUS #9 No Option

 

 

A couple of Sympathy cards one for my stash but unfortunately, I have to use one.  It has been a bad month for me.  First the boys lost their cousin a 41 year old man to pancreatic cancer.  So sad as he is leaving behind a wife and young daughter, mom & dad and twin brother.  

A couple weeks ago, I lost a friend that I used to work with also from cancer.  She was only 59 years old.  She was so vibrant and passionate.  Both so, so young.

And then this week, the mother of a very large family from our old church, passed away in her sleep.  She was about my age or a couple years older, maybe 69 or 70.  Still very young.  My kids went to school with her kids several years ago.

So many deaths in so short a time.  May God be with All of them and their families.

So I am entering this in Darnell's NBUS

Sorry this is such a sad post.  

 

I used a PTI Botanical Blocks #III that I had not used before.  There are two images in it and had only used one before.  I embossed both cards one in gold and one in white and then used my Ziggs to water color them.

PTI's January 2017 Blog Hop

 

It's been a couple month's since I have entered a card in the Blog Hop by PTI 

Here is the inspiration photo

 

I used PTI's Botanical Blocks III embossed in white on black cardstock and then used my Prismacolor Pencils to color.

Keep It Simple Praying for You.  I first tried just stamping with white pigment ink but lost the outline and am not good with outlining so decided to try embossing it.  However the leaves turned out better with the ink than embossed cause there wasn't much to color, but I am happy with it.

So the second card is what I came up with first and just wasn't liking it because I screwed up the birthday wishes and had to add it on the strip.  I was thinking of someone who has a birthday on Valentine's day.  I think the balloon is too big too.

Then made the other card and I'm not sure about it either.  The heart is too small.   Oh well, some days are like that.

A new Penny Black stamp set that my oldest son picked out. - Sweet Wishes colored with Prisma colored pencils. I always get very nervous when I add something by hand.  An artist I am not.

The Card Concept #65 Fresh & Bold

I was inspired by the pink and orange on the all white bed for my CAS card.  Also, the swirly pattern on the pillows.

 

PTI's Garden Gild Cover plate sponged with CP's New Party Collection Inks.  They were great for sponging.

Addicted to Stamps & More #225

 

It is so nice to have some new challenges besides Christmas and winter ones.  

When I saw ATSM I immediately thought of butterflies.  Love that when it happens.

I also got the rest of Catherine Pooler's party collection inks yesterday and could hardly wait to use them.  They are simply amazing.  One time stamping to get these bright images.  Love them.

And this was on Linen paper which is sometimes hard to get a good image the first time.  I used PTI's Butterfly Dreams one of their oldies and Swoosh sentiment.  The flowers are from CP's Amazing Floral.

Some PPP sequins and Perlen Pen for the middle of flowers and butterflies.  Yeah, less than an hour to come up with this and finish it without having to start over.  That is unheard of for me.

I love when a technique I have been wanting to try turns up on a challenge.  I had just seen this technique on Nancy's Blog  and knew I wanted to try it.  I rarely use my color pencils or kraft paper so thought this was perfect. 

 Isn't her card beautiful?

 

And of course we all have never before used schtuff.

 Also entering this on JUGS which Nancy is a designer on.
