A couple of Sympathy cards one for my stash but unfortunately, I have to use one. It has been a bad month for me. First the boys lost their cousin a 41 year old man to pancreatic cancer. So sad as he is leaving behind a wife and young daughter, mom & dad and twin brother.
A couple weeks ago, I lost a friend that I used to work with also from cancer. She was only 59 years old. She was so vibrant and passionate. Both so, so young.
And then this week, the mother of a very large family from our old church, passed away in her sleep. She was about my age or a couple years older, maybe 69 or 70. Still very young. My kids went to school with her kids several years ago.
So many deaths in so short a time. May God be with All of them and their families.
So I am entering this in Darnell's NBUS
Sorry this is such a sad post.
I used a PTI Botanical Blocks #III that I had not used before. There are two images in it and had only used one before. I embossed both cards one in gold and one in white and then used my Ziggs to water color them.

Two absolutely beautiful cards, that flower is wonderful and your colouring of it is perfect.
So very sorry to hear about all the losses you've suffered this past month Lin...so hard to let go of the one's we love, isn't it?! But good news that we'll all be together again at the end (or beginning, depending on how you look at it!!) Your cards turned out beautiful and I'm sure they will offer much needed sympathy and support. Beautiful coloring too! :0)
Oh Linda, my heart hurts for you and all those families. That is a lot to take in a short period of time. Your cards are beautiful and I'm sure they'll bring comfort to the families, knowing the heart from which they came. Sending you love, hugs and prayers my friend.
Lin, these are both just gorgeous cards, the flowers are colored beautifully...the background and everything just works so well together...and I am so sorry you are going through so many losses in such a short period of time. Heart Hugs, col

Both are beautiful, however the yellow one really knocks my socks off! Well done!
Lin, I'm so sorry for the sad passing of these wonderful young people who were family and friends. Any one is so hard, but multiple deaths really can pull the rug out from under us and remind us of our own mortality and how short life is.
These botanical images make really beautiful sympathy cards which I'm sure will bring comfort to the families. You've done a remarkable job of coloring them!
Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #9! Thank you, too, for your kind get well comments! Hugs, Darnell
