Wedding Pictures June 17, 2017 - Beautiful Couple & Family

This weekend was a weekend full of wedding celebrations.  Friday night we went to Brad and Ramie's for a pre-wedding celebration and met Ramie's family that came in for the wedding.  She is from Florida but has lived in Washington for  6 or 7 years.  There were, friends and family from Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee.  We are all so happy for this wonderful couple.

Then Saturday was the big day.  They woke up and the power went out and they were planning to get ready at home.  Fortunately, they were able to get into their hotel room early so she and the girls packed up everything to get ready there.  The rest of the day went off without a hitch.

The ceremony was beautiful.  Avery, my youngest granddaughter spoke at the wedding about Best Friends that she wrote herself.  There wasn't a dry eye in the house.  She did an fabulous job but then towards the end started to cry but finished.

We had a wonderful meal and then did some dancing.  Yikes, I haven't been on the dance floor for many, many years, but it was fun....

I chose this card below made by Heather.  I just thought the colors were so pretty.

My youngest son, Brad is getting re-married on Saturday, the 17th.  I am so excited and happy for him.  He called on Thursday and asked if I could help him make this gift for his fiance, Ramie.  She is just such a special person and we love her.   These are the papers she used to make up the table going into the wedding.

I think he thought we would just whip this out in 15 minutes or so, but it took us about 2-1/2 hours.  It was a fun project for us.

This week Debbie wants us to make a card with monochromatic blues on it.  Now blue is not one of my go to colors, but I am happy with how this finally turned out with a few tries.

I used PTI's  Gifts of the Season with CP Blues.  I used Broken China Oxide Distress Ink for the MFT stenciled snowflake background.

Saw this image and knew I had some leftover goodies from Birgit's 12 Kits of Occasion so made this cute card.
