A couple of cards that I am able to enter into
TwoferI will also enter this into JUGS but on a separate post.
I used a stencil called Crisp Autumn Leaves (not sure who made it) on both cards. The first I stenciled on the white sheet, added Altenew's Totally Tropical stamps with Gina K's inks. The second one is a technique from Gina K's Stamp and Chat Lives, stamping on Vellum. It is hard to see but the leaves are stamped on the Vellum. And you use two stencils to create an ethereal look as Gina calls it.. The second stencil is Gina's Daisy Chain stencil.
Thanks for stopping by.
Two fresh and clean cards and so spring.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty stenciled leaves, Lin! The purple flowers are so pretty and I love the dreamy look with the vellum! Thanks for sharing with us at The Twofer Challenge!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to use your leaf stencil in two totally different ways Lin...love it!! Your birthday card with the purple flowers is so pretty and your card where you stenciled the leaves on the vellum is AWESOME!! I haven't had a chance to try that technique yet, but definitely want to!! Two lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Thanks so much for sharing both with us at The Twofer Challenge!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteYour floral cards are both fabulous, Lin! I love the designs and the colors you used and I'm intrigued by the wonderful dreamy look of your thinking of you card! Thank you so much for playing in TCC #37! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteStunning leaves Twofer, Lin. The leaves stencil is very nice and you've used it on both cards perfectly. I like the design and the color combo on the birthday card. The thinking of you card is very soft vith the vellum. Stenciling on vellum gives fantastic effect. Thank you for joining us at Twofer Challenge #37. Hugs, Sonja
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful leaf cards Lin! Love the first one with the stenciled leaves and gorgeous purple blooms. Green and purple make the most beautiful cards! What a great look with your stenciling and vellum. Ethereal is right ... very dreamy! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful pair of cards. The autumn leaves on your first card are so pretty and I am intrigued by your second. The vellum really does give an ethereal look. Many hours can be spent watching Gina K creating.
