This month Trina wants us to use Rainbows on our cards at CAS Christmas, which really stumped me at first.
But after talking to Colleen, I was able to come up with these two cards. Since I had sponged a whole card, I was able to get two cards out of it. Actually, three but I messed up on the stamping. Grrr
Thanks for stopping by.
Fun rainbow Christmas cards Linda, and love the idea of adding multiples with different designs. Great inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful bright rainbow colors on your panels Linda - and so pretty with both the presents and stockings!
ReplyDeleteBoth rainbow cards are so beautiful and fun, Linda! Repetitive stamping on a rainbow panel is a wonderful way of making multiple cards with variations. I'll remember this technique. :-)

ReplyDeleteYour ink blending on your cards is absolutely stunning! You must have the patience of a saint to achieve such flawless blending...I'm so impressed! Good on you for getting 2 cards from your panel, too...you certainly deserve it after all that work! I also love your choice of elements...the stockings and presents are really cute ~ xx
Blending perfection and a gorgeous rainbow design, Lin! Good idea to blend a whole panel while you were at it! Happy Easter!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteI love that you did the whole panel and got two cards from it. These are such fun cards with the bright colors and Christmas images. Have a great Easter!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the bright and bold colours of your rainbow strips Linda! Wonderful blending ... it's perfectly done! Adorable with both the presents and stockings. Fabulous design! xx
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous rainbow cards! Too bad you didn't get a third card from that wonderful background, but I figure getting two from a background is always a bonus! The oxide inks blended beautifully as you changed colours.
