Happy 6th birthday to The Flower Challenge.
Trying to get back into a routine and enter some challenges. Since flowers is one of my favorite things to make cards with, I had to enter this challenge.
I wanted to practice my Copic coloring so, used Altenew's Fragrant Florals to color with Copics. It took me about 2 days to color this. (Partial days) I wanted to go slow, and I really am happy with how it turned out. When I was done coloring, I wanted to restamp and was so afraid to do it and rightly so, because I messed up on part of it and got some double stamping in places. Grrr... The stamp is so big it doesn't fit on an A2 card so was able to cut off some of the problem areas and then used a Copic Multiliner to fill in the double lines. The sentiment was one I had in my stash and not really sure where it is from.
Thanks for stopping by.
Bright and beautiful flowers, Lin! I know the frustration of that double stamping! Great fix. I would never have known!
ReplyDeleteSo bright and pretty, Linda! This would make anyone's birthday a happy one!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Lin. LOVE those bold and bright flowers that really pop with the dark green. You did a great recovery from your overstamping - it looks perfect! xx
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning Lin and so glad you decided to join us. Your colouring is so beautiful, and good on you for re stamping, you are braver than me. Everytime I try this technique even using the Misty I manage to misalign so I can't bring myself to do it . Thank you for joining us at The Flower Challenge DT Aileen
