This is one of the new layering stencils by Pinkfresh that I am just loving. Colleen came over to play and wash a load of laundry last week because she was still out of power. She was out for 8 days. Ugh. Luckily we didn't lose power, just a few blinks.
I am entering this card in Color Hues
Colleen brought over this stencil set Pinkfresh's Fresh Floral Garden which I inked up with Gina K inks. Did I say how much I love these layering stencils?
Thanks for stopping by.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Lin!! I am head over heels in LOVE with the Pinkfresh layering stencils too, and I'm almost embarrassed to admit I have almost all of them now!! (You'll see mine for the color challenge tomorrow.) The colors for this challenge were perfect for this set of stencils and your card just couldn't be any prettier!! If you want to buy any of the stencil sets, check out Scrapbook.com as they have almost all of them and are a little cheaper and ship really quickly. Just sayin... Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, lovely colours! Poor Colleen - no power for 8 days - that's a long time. I'm glad she could come over to you to do laundry and have a break.
ReplyDeleteOMG..poor Col...8 days without power...Ugh! TFS your gorgeous card with Col's layering stencils and using the colour Hues gorgeous color combo. I bet you are praying the your dear friend gets her power SOON. Love and Hugs..Nancy
ReplyDeleteI just saw Col's post and I'm shocked because I haven't seen any news about it. It's amazing that you are so close and yet you kept your power, thank goodness! And great for her to be able to come over to do her laundry and have a play date at the same time! Your card is sensational, Lin! I need a lot more practice to achieve this kind of neatness with a stencil! Keep safe! Hugs, Darnell p.s. I'll bet the Flower Challenge would love this in their gallery, too. The prompt is to use your newest ... hmm, not sure if it has to be a stamp, but check it out. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThis is BEAUTIFUL Lin!! I love your layered stenciling and can understand why you love them so much. I find them way easier than the layering stamps which never seemed to line up for me. :) So happy that you and Colleen had some fun crafting together, but sorry she was without power for 8 days. That's terrible. xx
ReplyDeleteGosh this doesn't look like a stencil at all, well done keeping it so crisp.
ReplyDeleteIt must be awful for your friend to have had no power for so long but great that she could pop around to yours and you got to borrow her stencil too!
Thanks for joining in with us at Color Hues. :)
This is awesome, Lin. I've never used layering stencils and I see what I'm missing. This is lovely. All we heard was about Texas, not a word about OR not having power. Eight days is a long, long time to be without. It's great one of you had power and that you shared.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, Lin! Love the light and dark peach colors! What a great stencil!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Lin! I am finding it very hard to resist these stencils and this card may have just done it for me! It is absolutely gorgeous! That sentiment is just as lovely! I had no idea Colleen was without power! That sounds like us with Hurricane Irma- 8 days also. No fun! Glad you didn't lose power and hope things are warming up. So happy to see you in our gallery again at Color Hues.
ReplyDeleteThis is just fabulous! I haven't tried these coloring stencils yet, but your card is certainly the inspiration I need to get a move on. Your color choices are perfect for the color Hues Challenge. Thanks for joining us again!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome, Lin, I love these stencils too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Lin. Love the colors. I love the Pinkfresh Studio layering stencils also, but don't have this one.
ReplyDeleteLinda this is stunning!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at Color Hues Challenge!
