Zoom Crafting with Blogging Friends

Had a fun time Zooming with Crafty Friends and learning a couple of new techniques.  Had such a good time chatting and crafting together.  I was only able to complete a couple of cards.  Some of the techniques did not turn out so good for me.

This first card is one where we embossed on toilet paper (yes I said toilet paper).
The ink was added to the inside of the embossing, spritzed with water and then embossed.

This second card was double dry embossed  with a  two embossing folders.
Using Cuttlebug folder with handwriting on it and then with again with a Darice Butterfly EF.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Love your dry embossed TP background, Lin. It turned out beautifully. Wonderful double dry embossed 2nd card too. TFS I only got to finish one card, but has some wonderful backgrounds for future cards. I did get all our corn frozen though...32 qts for the freezer:-) Love and Hugs...Nancy

  2. Two lovely designs Lin - the inked EF over the TP really looks lovely. Your double embossing is so pretty with the text and butterflies and the soft purple inking! xx

  4. You got two fabulous cards with these techniques, Lin! Love your TP piece with the inking and your double embossing is perfect with the script and butterflies! I've never had good results with inking the embossing folders. I did find that it was closer to what I wanted when I sponged on the color.
