Twofer Card Challenge #26

These are my two cards for the Twofer Challenge  this month.  It's been awhile since I have entered this challenge.  When I saw this umbrella, I couldn't help but picture some type of bug or as it turns out a turtle.  Usually, I can't think outside the box and just make two cards in the conventional way.But my little mind was able to come up with an unconventional way.  I have to explain that I can't even draw stickmen so to finish off the head, tail and feet for the turtle was a real accomplishment for me.  HaHa….

Avery Elles's Weather It.  The turtle was colored with Copics.

  1. Two great cards Lin but oh my...your turtle card is flippin amazing!! I rarely think outside the box either, so I am just totally impressed by using the umbrella for the turtles body and I think your head and feet came out just perfect too! And how sweet are the balloons tied to his tail?!! And how could a red & white polka dotted umbrella not cheer anyone up?!! Two wonderful cards my friend!! :0)

  3. Yay! You should be very proud of your ingenious creativity this month, Lin! I love your conventional get well card with polkie-dotted umbrella, but your umbrella turtle really steals the show this time! I think your stenciling, grass, and hand-drawn tail, feet, and head are fantastic! So cute how he is holding the balloons! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #26! Take care and keep safe! Hugs, Darnell
