CAS Mix Up Challenge January 2019

A card for this month's CAS Mix Up using the Bokey technique which I have done before.  I had fun creating this although I got it all done and got black ink from Birthday all over the front so had to start over.  Grrrr….
I used PTI's Simple Impressions Celebrations with Distress Oxide and white H/A ink.

Thanks for stopping by.

  5. Great work with your bokeh background Lin! LOVE the green and white ... so fresh and reminds me that spring is not too far away! Great birthday card with the sweet floating balloon. Black Ink ... grrrr ... it always shows up in the wrong place!! And usually once the card is finished. xx

  6. I love the Bokeh in green with the balloon floating off the edge! That black ink smudges if you look at it funny or so it seems. I think we've all seen our share of black smudges. Other colors too!

  7. Your minty green and white Bokeh background is gorgeous, Linda! It's bright and perfect for a birthday card. The matching floating balloon is a really nice touch. We all understand your frustration about the ink smudges. I often ask myself "Why did I do that!?" ;-)
Thanks for sharing this beauty at CAS Mix Up!

  8. This is so pretty!! I love the colors you used and the way your soft bokeh background creates just the right setting for the boldness of your sentiment and the pop of your sweet balloon! Bravo!! (Pop of the balloon.... sorry that might not have come out the way I meant it! giggles)

  11. Oh, boo, we've all ruined cards like that, but fortunately it doesn't happen too often. Your bokeh birthday design is fresh and delightful in that green, Lin! Hugs, Darnell

  13. Black ink can really mess up a card, but this one is beautiful. Love the subtle colours of this BG.
