My attempt at watercoloring with Betsy.
I was happy with this until I put the stamen in messed it up. They are way to thick, but it is what it is. LOL.
I used Stemmed Statements & Birthday Style on Aqua Mist card stock.
Betsy's gorgeous card.
Thanks for stopping by.

AWESOME no-line watercolour Lin!! Great work! Isn't it always the finishing touches that seem to give us grief??!! Your painting is gorgeous and whomever receives it is not going to be thinking the stamens are too thick! They will love it!!
ReplyDeletePersonally, when something needs thin lines, I usually use a black marker, white gel pen, or distress marker. Much easier than trying to paint really thin lines. :) xx
It's beautiful Lin! You did a fabulous job watercoloring this pretty flower.
ReplyDeleteBetsy's card is beautiful, but then so is yours, Lin! I think your stamens look perfect for a poppy and I love the yellow poppy with the soft aqua background! Love this!
ReplyDeleteYour yellow Poppy is absolutely GORGEOUS Lin and I would never have even noticed anything about the stamens if you hadn't said anything...I was too in awe of the water coloring on the flower! And your background came out beautifully too!! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! :0)
