Somehow I missed last month's Twofer which was flowers and more in my comfort zone.
So this month Darnell, wants us to make two cards with Pets. My critters stamps are very sparse so had to go to digi stamps and found this cute little puppy from
Sliekje's Digi Stamps.
These two little colored puppies sat on my desk for 4 or 5 days trying to figure out what to do with them. I knew I wanted to do one birthday card and still had trouble putting it together, but had trouble figuring out what to do for the other one and then it came to me. Your always see the puppies looking out the window when you leave.

I made a birthday card with PTI's Birthday Balloons, and the Miss You card uses MFT Brick Wall Stencil and Cloud Stencils
Colored the little puppy with my Copics.
Thanks for stopping by.
Two adorable card Lin! The stenciled backgrounds are so fun!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job crafting outside of your comfort zone with this cute puppy, Linda! She looks comfortable being in the spotlight on your festive birthday card and what a brilliant idea to have her looking outside the window missing her master! Great stenciling of the brick wall and clouds! Thank you so much for playing at Twofer Card Challenge #4! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, your cards are adorable Lin!! Love that sweet puppy. Fantastic designs for both cards. Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge. xx
ReplyDeleteThese are both as cute as can be! Great job using a digital image. I don't always think of that. The little pup peeking through the window stole my heart. so cute!!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww...your little pup that's staring out the window is stealing my heart too as that's exactly what Brinkley and Daisy do when we leave and they're still at the window when we come back! Cute, CUTE card Lin! Love the birthday card one too...adorable images and great idea to use a digi!! :0)
ReplyDeleteI remember our dog Missy waiting everyday on the back of the sofa, watching for my dad to come home from work. Your card is such a sweet reminder of that, and a clever idea, too! What a wonderful way to say, "I miss you." She's equally sweet on that birthday card. These are two great 'pet' cards, Linda. Thank you so much for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Bev
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable Linda!! I had a bit of a challenge with this challenge too LOL but you have inspired me not to quit!! I love the use of the window die!! Sweet : )
ReplyDeletePatti
I don't have many critter stamps either, Lin, but didn't think to look for a digi. You sure found a cutie! Love her all ready for the birthday party and looking out the window. Makes me think of the song "How much is that doggie in the window".
ReplyDeleteOh, these are so cute!!
ReplyDeleteWow, Linda! Look at you go, girl, with your Copics! Great job coloring your pups! Fantastic designs on both of your cards - I totally see my dog looking through the window like that! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely adorable!!!!!!! The softness on both cards is so Nic! Love the brick background and the way you showcased the puppy in the circle on the second card! Well done!!!!
