A second card for CAS Mix Up
& a card for Fusion
I used both the sketch and the pastels colors.
This card was made with the alcohol inks using the ombre method and they turned out a little more muted.
Used PTI's Stylized Autumn for the leaves and some velum and Keep It Simply, Sympathy.
Oh my gosh it is so hot for us Washingtonians. In the 90's for the next week or so. Ugh. So I am holed up in my air conditioned craft room and doing some crafting. Yeah!!!!
Thanks for stopping by.
Too hot for anything but crafting, Linda! Love the ombre colored AI and those pretty leaves! Thanks for sharing again with CAS Mix Up!
ReplyDeleteAnother alcohol ink background beauty, Linda:-) Love your soft summery colors and die cut in vellum leaves. TFS and joining us at CAS Mix Up..again! Hugs
ReplyDeleteI can't think of a better way to beat the heat than in an air conditioned craft room doing what you love. The background on this is fabulous and I love your take on the sketch!
ReplyDeleteLinda what an absolutely beautiful card. That background is stunning. I don't have any alcohol inks but have been seeing them used so much lately--time to shop. Staying cool in an air conditioned craft room sounds like a good plan! Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove the soft and delicate flowers of your alchol inks ombre background. So pretty. It's hot here too. Are you getting some of the smoke from the BC wildfires?? It floated down to the lower mainland about four days ago. Just awful! Stay cool in your craft room. And thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card, Linda! Thanks for joining us at Fusion!
